Transport is included from central Ubud for this wonderful half-day event. Loved the visit to the local street market. So nice to see where the locals shop. The cooking class was fantastic. Ketut is a huge personality and his assistants were fun, helpful and super-friendly. We did all the cooking (except dessert), not just a token amount like at other cooking classes I’ve been to in Ubud. Fun! Interesting. Delicious food as well. Great value at IDR350 000 (this price when you book through the cooking school’s website). So so good. Highly recommended.

Having visited Ketut’s just over two years ago with my mum and a friend, I was excited to be able to bring my husband and our four year old son with me to experience the cooking class again. Both times have been exceptional. The staff are wonderful, the market tour and class are interesting, and the food is incredible. It is so convenient to be picked up from your hotel and returned at the end of the class, too. I should also add, as I always look for this when reading reviews - our son was so welcomed, allowed to participate and allowed to take a break when he needed to. The staff members were so kind with him and were playing along with his Lego while we cooked! Just a lovely, easy experience from start to finish. Highly recommend (and thank you again)!

A fab afternoon, very well organised, all procedures well explained and great fun! The chef is bonkers and the dishes we made were lovely. As a non meat eater I was very well catered for.

A really fun experience - picked up on time from the centre of Ubud and dropped off at the family run business. A great set up with individual cooking stations. Very well organised, easy to follow and the food was really tasty. Good hygiene standards. The highlight was our chef tutor who was very funny. Would highly recommend!

My husband and I had never done a cooking class prior to Ketut’s Balinese one in Ubud. Wonderful experience using traditional preparation & cooking techniques and we lucked out by being with a small group of like-minded people. There were 2 other couple in our group and a further 2 couples cooking either another chef on the opposite side of the courtyard. The chef was fun and knowledgeable and his English was great. The rest of the team were friendly, helpful and courteous. The class lasted approximately 2 hours. We cooked a total of 4 dishes and ate every morsel at the end of the class, delicious! I can’t recommend Ketut’s Balinese cooking class enough 😊

Wow. Even better than expected. - Instructors were warm, funny, and clear. The set-up allowed every participant to cool and chop for themselves. - ate the food we cooked at the end, which was an absolute feast - Included in the cost was pick-up and drop off in central Ubud. - Trip to Bali wouldn't have been the same without this class.

The chef's tension was very high and interesting. They taught me in English in an easy-to-understand manner, the arrangements were good and the food was delicious.

An unforgettable cooking experience with Ketut and his family! From start to finish, this cooking class was fantastic. Ketut and his family made everything easy—they arranged pickup and drop-off for our family of four, which was a huge help. The food was absolutely delicious, and the instructions were clear and hands-on. We even received a helpful PDF to take home so we can recreate the dishes ourselves. We brought our 9- and 13-year-old kids, and Ketut was amazing with them—so friendly, patient, and fun. He’s a real character: full of humor and warmth, and he truly brought the experience to life. If you’re looking for a cooking class that’s authentic, family-friendly, and full of heart, this is the one to book. You won’t be disappointed!
