Enjoyed the walk and the guides were very informative. The breakfast was basic, but plentiful. We appreciated that they were able to accommodate dietary restrictions. Be aware that it is very dusty. The red sand and dust cover your shoes and clothes. Also the flies are a huge nuisance around your head and face. So be prepared with a head net that you can buy anywhere at the resort.

Guide was knowledgeable. Very informative. Good pace. Exceeding our expectations of what a wonderful iconic landmark Uluru is.

It was a great experience! The walk is easy and around half-way there is the option to go back on the bus and continue the tour by bus. During most of the walk it is not possible to take pictures as it is sacred land, but the guide explained this very well and let us know where it was possible to take pictures. There is a short breakfast included with some biscuits and tea.

Michelle was excellent. The tour is very good She was informative, knowledgeable and set steady walking pace. Breakfast is welcome but perhaps is not 5/5 as the coffee is instant rather than real, but they did kindly provide gluten free food. We are here for 2 days and this is a great introduction.

Great information about the Uluru geological history, indigenous people and stories to get a better understanding and appreciation out of the visit. Guides were fantastic! Breakfast could have included a sandwich or croissant rather than prepackaged biscuits.

Michelle the guide was incredible, full of enthusiasm and knowledge and kept us all safe the entire time 😊 she’s a credit to the way Uluru should be seen and respected.

The Uluru Morning Guided Base Walk was a great way to spend the morning and although we could have done the walk without a guide, we learnt a lot more than we would have then if we did it by ourselves. Michelle was an excellent guide who was knowledgeable and passionate about the area, and the tour was a fabulous experience!! This was a pleasant change as the previous day we went on AAT's Uluru Sunrise & Kata Tjuta Morning Tour and had Ned as our guide. Unfortunately, Ned was not personable and her explanations sounded like she was reading off a script with one dull tone used which was not engaging (very easy to accidentally tune out). It seemed like she was either very new to the position or she has been in it for a long time and has lost interest. In addition, at one stop there were four identical breakfast tables with biscuits and drinks and when we went to one of the tables to grab a drink we got scolded and spoken down to very loudly by Ned, pretty much getting in "trouble" for not listening to her that the specific table was off limits. This mistake on our behalf would have easily been corrected with a polite redirection and in all honesty we were shocked to have been spoken to in this way. As the areas that you are going to are generally the same across tour companies, it is the guide who makes or breaks the experience and in our case, although the first tour with Ned was disappointing, it was great with Michelle- so definitely depends who you get.
