Uros Floating Islands
Ready for an unforgettable adventure? Head to the Floating Islands of Lake Titicaca, where you’ll step onto islands made entirely of totora reeds. Imagine walking on soft, woven reeds beneath your feet as you explore these unique islands. You’ll meet the Uros people, who’ve been living on these floating islands for centuries, and get an insider look at how they build and maintain their homes. They’ll share stories about their daily lives, traditions, and how they’ve adapted to life on the lake. For an extra adventure, hop on a traditional reed boat made from the same reeds as the islands. Glide across the glimmering waters of Lake Titicaca for an experience that’ll leave you with unforgettable memories. (Note: the reed boat ride is optional and costs 20 soles per person, payable on-site.)

4.00Can’t find any fault from the tour. Everything was very well organised. From start to finish Mr Giovanni and our guide (Samuel) I think was his name were excellent. Explaining about the surrounding, life for the UROS. All were clear.

The local lunch at Taquile island was delicious. The tour included pick up/drop off at the hotel. I highly recommend this activity if you visit Puno.
