Please note: On the last Sunday of each month, entry to the Vatican Museums is free — and no priority access lanes are available. This day draws large crowds and queues may exceed 1-2 hours. Our guided tour still runs—please arrive early and plan accordingly.

1.00Awful experience. We were charged over $700 for the tour on a day that entry was free. Completely unethical. On top of that we waited 90 minutes to get into the Vatican due to it being a free Sunday which we were not informed about. We missed another tour we had booked due to the extensive wait time. The tour operators very very unorganized, left the mtg spot early and had started on their way when we arrived, nearly 30ppl in the group and hey had to call back for another guide. The actual tour guide was great, but everything else terrible. Everyone on the tour felt taken advantage of.

1.00The meeting place was set at 5 pm, but we had to wait with the accompanying person to get to the Vatican, who explained that our ticket “was her”. We have not received any clear information on wait times. The only answer to each question was “you are with me”, without further clarification. We booked a ticket with audio guide and not a guided tour, which makes it incomprehensible to wait for a group to queue. Arriving at 5pm, we were finally told that we could wait until 6.30pm at the meeting point, which was absolutely not specified at the time of booking. After that, we queued for at least 45 minutes in front of the Vatican, only to announce that we would not be able to enter. We were told that we would be contacted again for a possible postponement of tickets until the next morning, if there was room left. We have never had any feedback or information about it. On the other hand, we did receive a refund email the same evening, without any further explanation. Disappointing organization, lack of communication and significant loss of time.

2.00Our guide was not very friendly nor was she very informative. She was very rude to several of the people in our group and would tell us to ask her questions, but would admonish us if we asked her a question. When asked what time the museum closed, she said that we didn’t need to know that information, only she needed to know the information. I would not recommend taking a tour with her.

2.00The only good recommendation I have is to take the 5:30 tour, much less crowded than daytime. But... DO NOT USE POINTOURS. We were told to meet at an address that turned out to be in front of a movie theater. We then race- walked many blocks to get to the security line. Someone had been holding places for us, so we broke into a long line... and waited for almost an hour. In the meantime, our initial host was running back and forth, gathering more people. We were confused about our wait. We were confused by our ever- increasing group, which ended up being 30. There were Spanish only and French only speakers on our English tour. No one spoke to us to explain what was going on. At one point, they did hand out crappy white office labels as our group stickers. Not important, I know, but indicative of the quality. A couple more guides showed up as the line finally moved. More waiting after security, while our guides re- counted and got tickets. With no one telling us what was going on. We finally got broken into 2 groups. Our guide mostly said, "I would tell you about the history of this, but there's no time, keep moving." He ended his tour outside the Sistine Chapel, before we went in. Some other guides did the same, other guides kept going, including the substantial exhibits on the other side of the chapel. So: poorly organized, very poor communication, and not worth the price. Stay away from this company!

5.00It was very exceptional customer service We were running late they called, texted and waited for us because they realised it was expensive purchase for someone not to show up. We got lost and struggled to make it in time but they were excellent. We got there 15mins past our arrival time.
