Would prefer to just see the Sistine Chapel. Going through the entire museum was long and hot. I felt trapped

The audio tour was not informative at all. No instruction regarding the entrance or which direction to go in. There are many, many rooms in the Vatican museum. Places where you have to go right, left or straight. The audio has no instructions. We missed the court because of the lack of instruction. We weren’t happy at all. But the audio tour inside of the museum. I noticed other guest following numbers on the exhibits. Much more informative.

The listening APP was a waste of time and we gave up on using it. The Vatican is a one-and-done tour.

It's all very beautiful and should probably be seen if one is going to be in Rome. That said, we would not use this particular tour again. It was an audio "tour", which, quite frankly, was pretty lame. Essentially, there were 13 (or so) 1 to 2 minute audio descriptions of certain elements of the museums. It was lackluster at best. If we were to return, we'd look for another alternative. Possibly going direct to the Vatican website. As far as the Vatican itself, it's of course beautiful and the museums interesting. We were there on Oct 1 and it was still VERY crowded. We were surprised they allowed that many people in at once.
