-Due to the Conclave, the Sistine Chapel will be closed from April 28, 2025, until further notice. This tour will focus exclusively on the Vatican Museums, with 2.5 hours of in-depth exploration.

-Starting April 22, 2025, St. Peter’s Basilica will be closed to group visits. If available in the booking calendar, visits may still be possible but could be affected by sudden closures.

Our guide rushed through many areas and told us only about what they want to share. In addition, we paid for the additional St Peter's Basilica tour and were told to meet her at the end of the Sistine Chapel in 10 minutes. Less than 10 minutes later, she had already left with the rest of the group leaving us behind.

This was a great tour and the tour guide was spectacular. We loved the addition of the basilica. I dropped a star because we were rushed through the end of the museum where there was a lot of amazing modern art. Works from Matisse, Chagall, Dali, Picasso, because the tour guide said she doesn’t care for modern art. That would have been my favorite part, but instead didn’t get more than two minutes to glance at it all as we walked past it. We had to go and couldn’t go back to look on our own because of the scheduled time for the basilica. Despite this, we LOVED the tour and the guide and highly recommend booking. Just be prepared, or ask for extra time if you want to appreciate the modern marvels at the end of the museum. There really isn’t a lot, but an extra 10 mins would have been so welcome. I just didn’t know what to expect and what would be there.

Took a taxi from my hotel. Driver took us right to the checkpoint. Since we were early they scheduled us to an earlier tour. Wonderful and very helpful guide Julianna was exceptional. Long tour but we were so excited that we got into the Sistine Chapel just a couple of days after the new pope elected. No photos allowed in the S. Chapel and was very crowded but able to see all we wanted and more. Recommend their cafeteria as it was good selections and courteous staff. St Peter’s was a long walk but well worth it once we got there. Thanks for a wonderful tour.
