Trapp Family Lodge Outdoor Center
There's another great attraction here that I know will enjoy. No trip to Stowe is complete without a visit to the Von Trapp family Lodge. It's the second biggest reason after skiing that visitors come to the area. Situated on 2500 acres this Austrian mountain beauty is run by members of the original Von Trapp family that inspired the movie The Sound of Music.

The audio tape was excellent. We started at the north end and it was easy to connect. However, we didn't realize how much time this trip would take. We had just one day and only got about 1/4 of the way.

We downloaded the Self Guided driving tour of Rt. 100 in Vermont and it was wonderful. Having it downloaded ahead of time made it easy as we were driving and had no cell service at times. The GPS function of the tour was incredibly spot on to make sure we stayed on course. We loved all the info and anecdotes by the author. I would highly recommend this tour.

Highly recommend. Very informative and funny self-guided tour. The narrator gave historical tidbits as well as pointing out sites of interest we would have missed. Looking forward to doing additional self-guided tours in the future.

We followed the Vermont Rte 100 tour and absolutely loved it!! We spent two entire afternoons (3-4 hrs ea) following the tour and still didn't get to everything we hoped to do! We very much appreciate that we can use it for a year as we will likely be back within that time frame. I have an android and had NO PROBLEM downloading it, following it, going off the route for other recommended side visits (which we also appreciated) and then picking it back up without incident! Highly, highly recommend and I have forwarded the info on to many friends and family! Well worth the nominal fee! We will be purchasing more tours in the future, for sure!

My wife and I enjoyed this self-guided tour very much. It was very helpful as we wound our way through this route. It had a lot of great information and the instructions for seeing the side trips that we took were easy to navigate wit the provided aids. Wish we had the time to do the whole route! I guess we'll have to come back!

Actually takes longer than it mentioned said it would be 2 to 3 hours never made it to the end. Didn’t stop too many places just a couple.. wish it had been a circle not just more than three hours north and then you have to turn around and drive all the way back home. Wish it had actually taken this past places to get food. It mentioned detour to a busy city, but it really didn’t specify eating places actually on the trail or on the path whatever nice scenery though.

Loved our Route 100 tour. There was enough information to make it interesting without overwhelming us. The narrator also had a good sense of humor which made it fun as well. I would recommend this tour and will also be on the lookout for others like it in our future travels.
