  This was amazing! We had a Anna-Sophia I think (sorry if I got that wrong), but she was amazing as a history, major myself I pride myself knowing a lot of historical facts and I definitely researched this place before coming, and she blew me out of the water. We also had my elderly father who has mobility issues with us too, and they were so accommodating that it really made the trip worthwhile for him.

  We really enjoyed this tour and having a chance to learn about all the details of the palace and the history of the kings & queens. Anne-Sophie was a great guide! It was very crowded (Tuesdays are the busiest day at Versailles because all the museums in Paris are closed on Tuesdays), but Sophie did a great job of making sure we got through the crowd. I will say we did still wait about an hour outside the palace despite having a designated entry time, but that was through no fault of our guide or Viator (the Palace overbooks every time slot, so still be prepared to wait for entry, even with a tour/ticket during the busy season). We bought our gardens tickets separately and enjoyed the ambience of the gardens after the tour was over.

  You still wait in line... Instead of walking, you have to shuffle because there are so many people. That's $80 and a full day I'll never get back!
