Welcome to Puerto Madryn! We’ll be waiting for you at the meeting point in the Port of Puerto Madryn to start our tour to Punta Tombo.

Punta Tombo

Our adventure starts with a scenic two-hour drive to the Punta Tombo Peninsula in Argentina’s Chubut province. During the trip, our guide will share fascinating insights about the region’s flora and fauna, as well as the history of the Magellanic penguins. Upon arrival, we’ll find ourselves among hundreds of thousands of Magellanic penguins in an impressive natural setting. The two-mile-long and 600-meter-wide peninsula is covered with sand, clay, and gravel, creating the perfect habitat for these penguins. You’ll have the chance to walk among them, observe their behavior, and enjoy their presence in a completely natural and protected environment. After this unforgettable experience, we’ll return to Puerto Madryn, where your cruise ship will be waiting.

The Yellow Penguin guys are fabulous, flexible, friendly, helpful and such a pleasure to be with. We were on a South American Cruise and we heard about them from mother passenger. SO, SO pleased that we did!!! They provide a fantastic and cheaper, quality alternative to the very pricey excursions from the cruise company. They helped me to fulfil a dream of seeing penguins close up. They are a real pleasure to be with and you really feel that they care you and ensuring that you have the very best time. They are enormous fun too. Would highly recommend them.

Spectacular!!! Organized super efficiently. Tailor-made to be able to do it with young children. Leandro the driver and guide who touched us was great!!! He knew everything and gave us all the tips to enjoy every point and then the excursions. Super recommended.

Very but very good! We went with my family, with 3 children between 10 and 6 years old, and it was an amazing experience! The place, the environment, the penguins... The children in wonder! Perfect service, definitely recommend!
Not to be missed! Impressive walk with the Penguins.

We took a father-son trip to get to know Punta Tombo and interact with the penguins since my son loves them. In the previous one we had many doubts about how close we were going to be, and honestly, we were surprised to be able to walk along the path where they constantly crossed and have them a few inches. The service was excellent, both guide and driver, very attentive at all hours. I highly recommend them, they are cruise specialists! Thank you!!! PD: At the end of the tour we were given a delicious chocolate penguin!
