5.00We booked just the day before and Jo couldn't have been more amazing. The timing for us was perfect and she checked in advance if there were any special places we'd like to see, if it was our first visit to Cambridge, etc. The tour was excellent. Jo was brilliantly well informed and had endless stories and knowledge to share, but always a brilliant job noticing our interests. We loved the illustrations she shared, the insights into the city and university colleges and even gave us recommendations before our tour and for the next day. Couldn't recommend highly enough. We'll do another tour on our next visit and we've already told friends and family. Thank you Jo!

5.00We were a challenging group of 5 adults and 5 young kids. Our wonderful tour guide Yvonne took us on a 2 hour walking tour, starting at King’s College where we had bought entrance tickets. It was brilliant having her accompany us around the chapel and the college grounds, because it gave so much context to what we were seeing, and made the King’s entrance fee much better value. After King’s we saw Trinity and St John’s as well. Yvonne told us lots of interesting stories and facts, keeping everyone happy from the serious history buffs to the fidgety little ones, who really felt seen and included. She also gave us plenty of opportunity to ask her questions as we went round. The tour cost £120 for the 10 of us, which frankly is a bargain given the quality of the tour and comparing it to the other tour companies which charge £25 per head. We would happily go on another tour with Yvonne or any of the other guides from Cambridge On Foot and would definitely recommend this experience to anyone who wants to spend an entertaining and fascinating 2 hours seeing the sights of Cambridge.

5.00We had an amazing experience. Our tour guide, Dick, was very knowledgeable and showed us many interesting things. He also showed us places we had specifically asked to see, adapting the tour to our wishes. With this morning visit on a winter's day, we were taken back in time, far from the many tourists visiting the area who arrived at midday. This was a most memorable experience and I thoroughly recommend it.

5.00Cambridge really came alive with a tour, and our guide Jo was terrific. She explained the details and logistics of University organization and education, and also included history of this beautiful town and area both old and more recent. Jo combined history, educational facts, and lots of fun anecdotes. She individualized to our interests and questions. At end of tour, she gave us numerous suggestions for further colleges to explore on our own and other sights to see. Would highly recommend this tour, and Jo in particular, as a great way to visit this iconic destination !

5.00We had an absolutely wonderful experience with Joanne! Jo texted me several times before the trip to make sure of all arrangements. I was in constant contact with her on our trip up from London so our driver knew exactly where to drop us. Jo was a fabulous guide with a wealth of knowledge and amusing stories. She was just delightful to be with. We recommend her unconditionally!!

5.00We went with a group of Chilean students to get to know the different colleges of Cambridge, Jo Sharpington was our guide and was really amazing, she told us several stories about the places, which we did not know, well documented and very charming. She is a really friendly and enthusiastic person, as well as handling a lot of information. I recommend it 100%

5.00Megan gave us a Well guided tour of several colleges, a pleasant experience all round, history and fun stories combined. To visit Kings College chapel was pretty expensive.

5.00We booked with Cambridge on Foot who were immediately friendly and helpful. We had Jo who was warm, bubbly and very friendly. We particularly wanted to show our friend from the States the colleges and Jo was extremely knowledgeable on both facts and good stories. A great day out and our tour with Jo certainly made our day. We would definitely book Cambridge on Foot again.
