This combined package has it all. This tour gives you a unique chance to see Cambridge both on foot and from the water, all in one visit. Enjoy a complete Cambridge experience by combining our 90-minute student- or graduate-led college walking tour with a 45-minute chauffeured punting trip—a great way to take in the city’s history and charm.
The tour takes place outdoors. If you choose when booking, after the walking tour finishes, you can add a self-guided visit to one of Cambridge’s most historic and beautiful chapels: King's College Chapel.
Then, without needing to arrange anything extra, you’ll board a traditional punt and glide along the peaceful River Cam. Passing the famous college backs, the Bridge of Sighs, and the college riverfronts, you’ll see parts of Cambridge that most visitors dream of, when coming here.
It’s a perfect way to enjoy both Cambridge’s rich academic heritage and its tranquil riverside scenery—all in one experience.

On the day of the tour we met up with Megan, our guide. We were fortunate to have Megan all to ourselves, no other couples joined on our timeslot. Megan provided relevant information to me and my husband on Cambridge university and its surrounding areas, including stories from the past. Megan was clear with her communication and we both appreciated Megan sharing her knowledge. Thank you again Megan, we wish you well with your future plans.

I went on this tour with my daughter in October 2025 and found it very informative and interesting. We had Claudia and found her to be punctual, very personable as well as being very knowledgeable. I would recommend this tour & the optional extra for Kings Chapel as well as the great punting experience. We had Moses and again, found him very friendly and informative.

I had such a great time on our Cambridge tour with Claudia! She was super knowledgeable and made the history really fun and easy to follow. I loved hearing her own stories from her time at Cambridge—it made everything feel so much more personal. Such a fun and interesting tour, would definitely recommend!

It was our first time in Cambridge and learned so much on this walking and punting tour! Our guide, Annie, was amazing and it was so informative to get an inside perspective from her and to learn more about the colleges. The pace worked out well and we had a little bit of time to grab a quick lunch before the punting tour, which was a nice way to relax and enjoy the views.

The punting is very nice, great views and fun on boat, good tour guides. The walk is just ok, can only see exteriors and they look better on punt.

Great experience, very detailed tour full of nuances. Sarim was extremely fun, knowledgeable and easy to chat with, made our tour a really nice experience even though we showed up later than we should have.
