Enjoy some of Mexico City’s must-see spots with our ‘Colors of Mexico’ adventure.
Your day begins in Coyoacán, one of Mexico’s most influential cities. As you wander its tree-lined streets, you’ll learn how this city played a part in historical empires like the Aztec and Spanish.
Then visit la Casa Azul (if option selected), Frida Kahlo’s home and now museum. We’ll immerse ourselves in the trailblazing life of one of Mexico’s most original artists.
From the inspired art of Frida Kahlo, we’ll head to the eye-catching Xochimilco and board a trajinera - a colorful, gondola-like boat - for a ride through the neighborhood’s famous canals. As you indulge in local treats , your guide will share the incredible details of what makes this area a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Before finishing the tour, walk around North America's oldest university and admire its Central Campus, another World Heritage site.

Victor gave us the wrong pickup spot, we missed the tour and the tour company wanted to charge us to rebook. Their customer service was terrible. DO NOT USE THIS TOUR COMPANY!!!!!!!!

A lot of time stuck in traffic, tour guides were good until we got to the lake, there was no explanation of the history of the floating land masses that i had read about. The Frida Kahlo museum is interesting but I was hoping for more of her art work. ( it was her residence and most of the dispays are dedicated to her life and not her art.)

The bus ride is very long and only air conditioned in the front of the bus. The first stop is at the university which seems kind of pointless. We spent almost an hour standing around in the hot sun in the middle of a quad while they talked about two murals. The second step is for the museum, which was amazing! However, I would've liked to have had the time to wander around in the town versus spending all of that time standing in one spot of the university. That is definitely something I would suggest they change. Lunch is decent. It is a buffet. The garden tour is interesting… It's not really a garden tour. You are on a barge or maybe 45 minutes in a very crowded canal with lots of vendors trying to sell you things it is amusing and entertaining, but not really what it is billed to be. The mariachi bands are very good and it is fun to sit on the barge and have a beer or a margarita. I just think you have to have the right expectations.

Great tour! Very beautiful and tour guide was friendly, funny and welcoming. Although, I would recommend to get there early because you won't get in touch with bus driver if you are lost or arrive late. The tour company won't help you so I would plan ahead.
