A great and well planned experience. It was exiting to see the bridge, to go in a tailboat in Kwairiver, to sleep in luxustent, to swim in naturepool and to go by train on the railway built during the war and to learn about Mon culture and people.

Really enjoyed our 2 day River Kwai tour overnighting at the Resotel Resort. We were picked up right on time at 6.35am from our Bangkok Hotel. From there we were driven by mini bus to a location where a larger 45 seater bus was waiting. This bus would only have been a third full so there was plenty of room. Ken was our guide and gave great commentary. We were taken to the Kanchanaburi War Museum and Cemetery, then by long tailed boat to the infamous Bridge on the River Kwai. We were given the chance to walk the bridge before being taken to our accommodation at Resotel. Here we met our new guide Bobo, who was a font of knowledge. Great guide! Later that afternoon in a smaller group we visited a local Mon Village and were entertained that evening with a display of Mon dancing. The following day in a group of 4, we visited Hellfire Pass, which was a sobering experience, followed by a ride on the original track of the Death Railway. The entire tour ran like clockwork. We had fabulous guides and we were back in Bangkok around 7pm. Fantastic 2 day tour. Highly recommend!
