Start early from your hotel and begin your journey with a visit to the impressive El Jem Amphitheatre, one of the best-preserved Roman sites in the world. Continue to Matmata to explore its unique troglodyte houses and learn about this traditional way of life.
Head toward Douz, known as the “gateway to the desert.” Here you can enjoy an optional camel ride before arriving at your Sahara camp. Enjoy a traditional dinner and an overnight stay in shared tents, with the unforgettable atmosphere of the desert at sunset.
The next morning, cross the vast Chott El Jerid, a spectacular salt lake known for its surreal colors and shimmering mirages. In Tozeur, board a Land Rover for an off-road adventure to three must-see locations: Chebika mountain oasis, the canyons of Tamaghza, and the famous film landscapes of Ong Jemal.
