Wander through the charming old town and, if you choose, visit the Mosque-Cathedral, one of the most breathtaking examples of Moorish and Christian architecture in Europe. After free time for lunch, continue to Setenil de las Bodegas, one of Andalusia’s most unique white villages, famous for houses built directly into rock overhangs.

If I could give negative stars to the guide - Maria ..I would do that . I would request the tour company to either give her more training or let her go . Extremely bad experience. We had booked an English tour . She kept talking 90% of time in Spanish and gave one word explanation. This tour ain’t walking tour , it is plain walking . She has very limited knowledge about cordoba/ Ronda .. When the day started we drove 830 -1010 to cordoba . Then she showed us Jewish quarter till 1030. And then gave told us we have free time till 1220. And we are suppose to have our lunch in that time . Now of course we had breakfast when we left so were neither hungry but we thought maybe we can pack . But no lunch or eating place was even open at that time . Only coffee and few breakfast items were available . I don’t know why mosque was not done 1030-1230 and then given free time at proper lunch time . I had booked this tour in may . So the company knew of it since months and could have secured 1030-12 mosque timing making our experience better . Considering this is 13 hour tour . Proper free time during lunch is waranteed. Then in white village - senetil , she gave 30 min free to eat and only place open was serving only ham and cheese. She could have easily given us 30 min extra in cordoba after mosque as places had opened by the time mosque got done .Now we don’t have ham . So basically we ate nothing. While when Maria had given us 530 time to meet at meeting point, she was enjoying her lunch till 540 . She was not cooperative or interested. Now drive from cordoba to Ronda is 2 hours . And from my experience the first thing a good guide would do after long drive is point out WC. But it took her 20 min of walking around and not finding any WC she could direct the group too. It just showed that she ain’t aware enough about area and is not experienced. Cordoba , Ronda , white village are all beautiful places . But we pay so much for guided tour and this is extremely poor example of it. The reason I gave it to 2 stars still is The local guide inside the mosque was excellent. Very knowledgeable. And the driver helped us get near our hotel on our return to Seville . Only saving grace of the day.

Great tour. Small group just 6 of us. Our guide, Raul, was fantastic. Interesting history and great stories and background throughout the tour. Cordoba was incredible as was Ronda. The white village was a good stop during the journey but nothing to write home about. Would have rather spent that additional time in Cordoba and skipped the village.
