What a long dusty day but it was great! Overload on info since Islam, aka 'Tigo', knew a ton. Thankfully he was patient enough to repeat it several times throughout the day when we came across a different pyramid and I forgot how things were connected. Spectacular photos of things I have never seen before and hilariously took cheesy tourists shots like ones 'holding' or 'carrying' the pyramids. A bit of a flexible schedule, depending on the moment, so we got to stop off at a carpet school, pulled over to buy some dates off a lady's street cart, ate a koshary lunch at local place, jumped into a horse drawn carriage after the pyramids closed (Islam bartered a cheap fare), and chilled with a cup of tea at a local place at the end of the day. The whole tour was totally fun and informative. I felt safe and could choose to do what I felt comfortable with (eg., some interior pyramid walks would have been too hard for me). I mostly appreciated the balance of being at the must see tourist sites but also a chance to sit with the locals and feeling the energy of Egyptians. I'm sure Islam will adjust for your specific needs. I would have loved to have done another trip with them but it didn't work out that way this time. Thanks, Islam and Mohammed (driver) for introducing Cairo and the Pyramids to me. Great memories and stories!

I went on this tour alone with guide Hazem and Driver Mohammad. We started 8:00 AM and finished 4:00 PM. The guys were punctual and picked me up from hotel, the car was very good and the guide was amazing, not only does he have a lot of information about Egyptian history but he is also a great photographer! I did all Pyramids, visited oil, Bardi paper and cotton shops, I was advised also by the guide to go to the spot where you see all 9 pyramids. Lunch was provided and it was also very good. Since i was the only tourist, this gave me some freedom in time. The overall experience was wonderful it is really worth it. I rate Hazem more than 5.

Honestly, there are parts of this tour I really liked. It’s long, but to give a context to all the pyramids, it’s great. To see Giza Pyramids, Memphis City, Sakkara and Dahshur in one day is long but amazing. All three places are linked. The good: Mahmood from Emo Tours picked us up on time, arranged all our tickets, and brought us to lunch. He was one of the few tour guides that brought his own binder. This was great to understand each site. His English was ok. The bad: Mahmood right off the bat tried to convince us to switch to the Pyramid and Grand Egyptian Museum, even though we booked this tour upon recommendation by his colleague. He said it was too much to do and people don’t usually do it. We said we’re fine and replied: “Remember my words at the end of the day”. Not a great start. They added additional stores to stop, one was carpet weaving in Sakkara with a nice guy, but I didn’t want to buy. The other was a gift shop in Memphis, the last was the worst and made it so I can’t give the recommendation. We are in Giza and looking at the pyramids, we are looking at the Sphinx. Mahmood says we have to go. I was disappointed but understood, these guys have to get back. I thought we were going back to the hotel, but no it was an essential oils shop. As an aside, the oils made me undesirable to my partner until it was throughly washed off. Read the room Emo tours. Someone is looking at one of the wonders of the ancient world and loving it, maybe don’t pull them away to see a presentation about essential oils. I would have given a recommendation for Emo tours and Mahmood, until that point, but we need more transparency as to the activities.

My guide Mohammed was very knowledgable and informative. The tour was well organised and ran smoothly we were given as much time as we liked to spend at each place. Would highly recommend booking with this company.

The tour was very educational and fun. It was quite relaxing, not too rushing and above all, we covered so many things within 8 hours.
