We really enjoyed our visit to Deva. Loved the enthusiastic host. It was fun and informative. Lots of interactive areas. Highly recommended. Good value for money filled a good hour and a half of our day out in Chester.

The Roman Experience was one of the highlights of our trip. Joe, the first Roman we met, was fantastic, theatrical, engaging, and clearly passionate about his role. He brought the character to life and made the whole experience fun and interactive. We had a good laugh with him, and he was just as friendly when we saw him again at the end. The experience itself was informative, hands-on, and thoroughly enjoyable. A great way to round off our weekend in Chester. Thank you!

“Best Museum Ever!” (8yr old) 6 yr old boys and 8 yr old girl had a great time and enjoyed all the activities before and after the tour, but especially the immersive experiences on the tour. The staff were knowledge and enthusiastic and explained history in a fun and informative manner for all. We stayed for about an hour and a half and will be back again next year.

Brilliant tour would highly recommend this for anyone! Brilliant actors, great displays; our 4yr old enjoyed it more than the Shrek experience in London! Lots of interesting stuff for adults too. Excellent value for money.

The tour was brilliant, the guide really made us feel part of what was going on around us. He and my daughter compared knowledge about Romans for ages.

Cannot rate as when we got there it was shut. It had let me book a ticket but it wasn't open. Still awaiting refund. Travelled nearly 2 hours to get there for my husband's birthday so was wasted trip.

This is my new favourite museum! We absolutely loved it, and so did our seven year old son. The guide leading the tour was brilliant - as well as being incredibly knowledgeable, he was hilarious! He had all the kids and adults laughing. Our son came away definitely having learnt lots, and more importantly, we all enjoyed ourselves. Thank you! I wish more museums were like this one x

The information about the digs that happened at this site was very well displayed . and I liked the two roman soldiers - I found the information given very informative. We saw the soldier taking a group of school children out for a march, all of the children were really engaged and loved it. Fantastic presentation of the roman soldier , he answered all of our questions and knew all his facts, I would recommend to any family or oldies like us, we learnt a lot Thanks
