What To Expect
Treasure Hunt Chester will take you on a beautiful route, and send you to fab places, all at your own pace. Because it’s all on your phones, it’s super flexible and there’s nothing to print. You’ll have a laugh solving the clues and following the maps. Something in a shop window catch your eye? No problem. Take it at your own pace. Even turn it into a pub crawl! Along the way you’ll learn interesting facts and stories keeping you entertained. By the end of it all, you’ll have a great overview of Chester and what you’d like to explore next. It works like WhatsApp, so it’s easy to use. You don’t need to download or print anything and it doesn’t need any permissions. Plus, you get to start when you want. Captain Bess will invite you and your friends to join the hunt. Bess sends you a series of treasure maps to your phones, leading you around the city, and a series of clues, so you have to search the city for answers. Don’t worry if you can’t find the answer right away, you can always ask for hints. Along the way, she’ll tell you interesting facts and stories about the things you’re spotting.

5.00Loved this. The clues were challenging but manageable. We had a good wander around. Chester and saw things were probably wouldn’t have seen otherwise. You have the flexibility to take your time & we stopped several times and ended up finishing on a second day. Thoroughly enjoyed it and will definitely look to do another one in a different city.

4.00Really great hunt, you get to see all of the places and things that you would usually completely miss. Clues were excellent, hints were really useful and information about the area was brilliant. The one and only issue that we had was internet coverage.

5.00Great way to explore the city- challenging at times but the hints helped😊 Loved the way it made you look more carefully at the surroundings and took you up alleyways which we would never have found otherwise. Explored the city in some depth. It was fun and we all really enjoyed it. Thank you

3.00The technology worked pretty well throughout the hunt, although right at the end it stopped working for all of us - frustrating. The route was well chosen and interesting but we thought some of the clues were too hard, children got frustrated
