This is a great tour for those who only want to spend a half-day out, are short on time, or want to enjoy a nice sleep-in while on holiday! We visit two areas on this trip, Daintree River and Mossman Gorge.
We begin with a drive along the Captain Cook Highway, on the way to the Daintree River, and share a little history along the way.
Here, we board a cruise along the Daintree River, looking out for local wildlife, including the estuarine crocodile, snakes, birds, frogs, and more. Enjoy a beer, wine or soft drink with a snack while cruising.
After the Wildlife Cruise, we head over to Mossman Gorge.
Once in Mossman Gorge National Park, we conduct an interpretive walk along an elevated boardwalk. Weather dependent, we can enjoy a dip in the crystal-clear rainforest stream, whilst being surrounded by the beautiful and healing Mossman Gorge rainforest. What a memorable way to spend an afternoon!

What To Expect
You will board a cruise along the Daintree River, looking out for all manner of creatures, including the estuarine crocodile, snakes, birds, frogs, and more.
Mossman Gorge Cultural Centre
We arrive at Mossman Gorge and your guide will take you on a walk and share their knowledge of the local flora and fauna and answer any questions you may have. This is an easy 500m return walk mostly along boardwalks. You can enjoy a swim in the crystal-clear rainforest stream, which can be quite refreshing, whilst being surrounded by the beautiful and healing Mossman Gorge rainforest. What a great way to spend a morning!

5.00Incredible tour that fit perfectly into our schedule!! We felt like we got the best out of each activity! A wonderful drive to Daintree with a funny and animated driver, a drink and snacks at the croc cruise where we saw more than 7 crocodiles (amazing!!) and a nice walk along Mossman Gorge and some time in the water! Friendly door to door service, we felt taken care of the entire time! Highly recommend this if you might be short on time but want the highlights!

5.00This was a great way to explore the area. The tour was well-organized and nicely paced, with a comfortable bus and engaging commentary throughout. The highlight for us was Mossman Gorge—absolutely stunning. We braved a swim in the freezing water (visiting in winter!), and riding the rapids turned out to be so much fun. Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable, sharing fascinating insights about the area’s natural and cultural history. While the river cruise was calm and scenic, crocodile sightings were minimal. Still, it was a relaxing part of the day. Overall, a fantastic half-day experience.

5.00Had a great ride to see the crocs in their natural habitat, and an excellent dip in the Daintree swimming spot (complete with sand beach & river bottom). Daniel had lots of info for us at every step in the tour.

2.00For a 4 hour tour all you get is a boat ride along the river where you may spot one or two crocodiles and a walk to the gorge

5.00We had a lovely day that was well timed to see the crocodiles with Bob who knew exactly where to take us on the Daintree. Then Daniel took us to the Mossman George which was beautiful. We did an afternoon half day tour which was enough but if you want more time to explore do the full day tour.
