For this unique experience, I selected for my guests an old style bakery, a cheese & salami shop, a gourmet truffle producer, a local gastronomia & an historical coffee bar in Alba.
The includes the most relevant seesight and corners of the city, alternating history and art with different tastings (cheese, salami, 2 starters, truffle products, 1 pasta (agnolotti al plin or tajarin), hazelnut desserts or chocolate truffles, coffee or ice cream, water, breadsticks and 2 glasses of wine). It's the right introduction to the culinary scene of Alba and Langhe area discovering ancient ingredients & connection between food & history.

5.00Our guide, Guida, is incredibly knowledgeable about the area, its surroundings and history. Her passion for the city of Alba is evident. We learned so much from her. Enough to make isn’t to come back and explore more of the city and region! While on the tour we learned that Guida also did a walking tour to a nearby vineyard, so we joined that tour in the afternoon! Also amazing!!

4.00Truffle tasting was the best. Guide was knowledgeable, friendly and English was very good. Food was delicious, but we would have liked more tasting of Alba wines. Overall it was a very nice experience.
