Hi guys it's Archie here!
We are a 2 guide team, Archie & Petura. We have a wealth of knowledge and experience in Bahamian culture. Come be a local for a day, learn how we live, come listen to our stories. Our tours start at Parliament square, next to Queen Victoria's statue, which is directly behind the cruise terminal. We will have a sign.
We have 2 tours to choose from, a history tour and a food tour. What makes the food tour different than most is that it includes a Bahamian breakfast option and you select your own meal from the restaurant menu unlike other tours with preset menus. This is great for those with dietary restrictions or picky eaters. Unlike other tours, you control how much you spend as food cost is not included in admission. Also, kid admission is totally free, bring your whole family with no extra cost. Your guide acts as an food advisor and we will give you the stories behind the food. Our Signature Downtown walking tour is a classic and begins at 11 am.

Our tour guide Archie was excellent. The four of us were the only people on the tour and Archie took us to the sites we requested and told us very good information about Nassau and the Bahamas. If we come back for another tour, it will be with Archie again.

Archie customized the tour to align with our preferences, allowing us to adjust the itinerary to include places we wanted to see that weren't originally on the list. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and patient, especially considering the size of our group. Additionally, Archie went above and beyond by helping us connect with vendors in the Bahamas for our other events, which contributed to a wonderfully memorable experience. Overall, we appreciated the thoughtful assistance that made our trip truly enjoyable. Dami A

I took the walking tour with Archie. He arrived at the meeting place early. Once we determined i was the only tourist, we began our tour. We started with the parliament area where he explained how the Bahamian government works. Since it was Sunday, the area was quiet. We walked to various areas where I saw quite a few cruise ship folks with their tour guide stickers. I sampled Pina colada; a few chocolate morsels and the high point was a large basket of conch fritters. About 2-3 hours later, we returned. Archie is quite knowledgeable about Nassau and the Bahamas. This is a walking tour of maybe 3 or so miles. (Heck, from the ship to the port exit was at least half a mile.) Don't be put off by the title. He spoke excellent English.

Quinn led us on a 2.5-hour walking tour of Nassau on our first day visiting the country. We saw key areas such as The Queen’s Staircase, Fort Fincastle, different types of government buildings, a tour of the rum distillery and some stops in shops. He shared info about the history and culture of the country as we walked through. We enjoyed the adventure!
