We wanted to go to the Arctic Circle but did not feel comfortable driving by ourselves in such a remote area that we didn't know (and we were expressly forbidden to drive our rental car on the Dalton Highway). Fortunately, our driver and guide Keaton is very experienced and knowledgeable, as well as friendly and fun to talk to. He provided sandwiches and snacks, and called ahead to the Yukon River Camp so we could order food there. We had a beautiful mostly sunny day, and seeing the vast Alaskan wilderness was truly impressive.

This trip was nothing short of amazing. It is indeed a long and grueling ride, but our guide Keaton, was super knowledgable and really fun to talk with. He answered my endless questions about the drive, the locations, and all things Alaska. He also let me pick his brain about all things dog mushing, which made the time fly by. It was a supr beautiful fall day, with tons of fall foliage. He made sure we had snacks, food, water and gatorade and helped us pre-order our lunches as the Yukon River Camp. He also had all the safety gear that was required for such an epic trip. Thank you Keaton, you really made our day.
