The tour was great. Our guide Jay was very informative and helpful. I loved the option of a step through e-bike. The path is dirt or gravel with some definite twists and turns. The scenery is spectacular and we love the swing bridges. We really liked having lunch at Kinross and sampling their wine. All in all a really nice day.

The track is difficult in parts even with an e bike. Ascents are sometimes short but impossibly steep. The route is well marked but if you are on your own there are a number of ambiguous turnings. I missed one and had to retrace my way some distance! The bikes are VERY HEAVY

Excellent trip. Would do it again. eBike was a good choice as there were some hills to conquer. Trail was easy to follow.

For a family who haven’t been on bikes a lot, we loved this experience. We hadn’t been on e-bikes before but they were easy to use and made some of those hills SO much easier. Still cannot believe how gorgeous this ride was. It wasn’t a beginner track at all, and we needed the full time frame (6 hours) to cover the distance. We stopped at 11th Avenue cafe for yummy lunch. Lance the agent was helpful and came and picked some of us up earlier. Meeting the goats was a good rest break! Loved the swing bridges and other riding experiences, and being under the flight path was cool too. The overall experience was a must do in Queenstown.

It was beautiful. However we should have packed snacks as there was not any obvious food points until we were 10km from finish. The bikes were excellent. Our instructor was extremely enthusiastic and helpful! Thank you Lamce!

I challenged myself to get out of my comfort zone and do this ride alone. I did the ‘Ride to Riches’ trail; Arrowtown back to Queenstown. All I can say is wow - I’m so glad I did!! The scenery is stunning. Being a woman and an Australian, I was a little worried about riding secluded trails I didn’t know much about, but I made friends with another group and there are enough people around that I didn’t feel unsafe at all. Another important thing to know is that there is phone reception the entire way. The chain on my e-bike completely snapped off about 25km in, but Alyssa from Going Blue delivered a replacement bike to my location and I was able to finish the trip. While I waited for her to arrive, I sat on a beautiful hillside overlooking Shotover River and the Remarkables and had a small picnic. The weather also turned it on - the sun was out until I finished the trip. Overall, it is one of those days I will never forget. Loved it.

For all ages and levels of fitness. Fun to do with friends in a safe environment. Close to nature and away from the traffic. Seeing what you can not see in a car. Ability to stop when you want and at your own pace.

I did the ride to riches track today. Even in the wintertime it is absolutely breathtaking. The scenery, kindness of staff, and care from the team at Going Blue makes this well worth doing! The equipment is top notch, modern (This was a Bosch Powerfly e-bike) which made the trip much easier and allowed me to take time to stop throughout this journey at my leisure to take photos and rest. The instructions are clear and help us on hand when it is needed. If I could a higher rating than 5/5 I definitely would!
