Experience 1,000 birds, 250 different species and 1 great day out. Bali Bird Park is home to the largest and finest display of Indonesian birds in the world including the rare Bali Starling and the exotic Birds of Paradise. The park’s lush two-hectare tropical garden is also home to a colorful array of birds from parrots, peacocks, hornbill, cranes, pelicans, flamingos and many others, exhibited in their recreated natural habitats, complete with indigenous plant life. Be amazed of how near you can be with hundreds of feathered residents that meander through the garden such as the graceful African Crowned Cranes, often with their chicks in tow, one example of Bali Bird Park’s successful breeding program. This park opens daily from 9 am until 5.00 pm.

What To Expect

Bali Bird Park

Visitors are able to participate in various interactive Feeding Experience programs such as feeding the friendly lorikeets and pelicans or watch our trained keepers feed the baby birds at the avian nursery. Wonderful performance of macaws, cockatoos, hornbills and water birds at Bali Rain Forest Free Flight Bird Show is presented daily at 10.30 am and 4 pm while majestic birds of prey from eagles to kites, owls to falcons let every one’s imagination fly by watching them soar overhead and swoop down at the Basic Instinct Bird Of Prey Show at 11.30 am and 3 pm. For close encounter with our popular stars including ‘Anna-Maria’ our world–renowned Black Palm Cockatoo, join Meet The Bird Stars program at the Bali Starling Restaurant, 12 noon, 1.30 pm and 4.30 pm daily. At the scheduled time visitors are also able to enjoy the 4D movie of birds story telling.

It was amazing to see all the different birds. There are different parts of the park for different geographic regions.It was a great day out. Debbie in the large aviary was really helpful and let me feed the birds. I loved the giant crowned pigeons.

Very nice organized bird park, amazing variety of birds (most of which come from different Indonesian islands) that we never seen in any bird park around the world before. The bird feeding interactions were great, and the petting areas included many turtles , monitor lizards, iguanas. ..etc. well worth the entrance fee.

We really enjoyed the bird park. It was great to see so many birds in close to natural surroundings. Many of the birds were not in cages. We arrived in time to see one of the bird shows, which was informative

We had a great morning at Bali Bird park. We followed all the shows and feeding schedules so we had plenty to do! The shows were all great especially the basic instinct show which displayed all the hawks and raptors. We also loved feeding the pelicans and the Komodo dragon. The park itself is very clean and well organized. We didn’t feel bored one bit even it being small. Only one negative comment is that 4D show is very outdated and uninteresting. It would be better if they showed a documentary with real birds rather than a cartoon with bad voice acting and graphics from early 2000s. Just skip that part. lol.

Such an awesome place. Birds are kept clean and well fed. No stinks anywhere. Very quiet and calm surroundings. It’s a garden with birds around. I love the pelican moving around. Lots of birds we can see and in a beautiful way. The restaurant is excellent too. Washrooms are neat. We can interact with the birds. And the shows are great and informative too. Will go again

We visited the bird park for about 3 hours on an afternoon. The park is relatively new with lovely bird enclosures. However, there is a large focus on interaction with the birds. We attended the presentation on a couple of cockatoos, feeding of cormorants and a bird of prey demonstration. Together with bird feeding in the aviaries and the fact there were many birds we hadn’t seen before (including the Javan magpie) made this a great outing.

It is a beautiful park where the animals are well taken care of. Many animals also roam free and some birds you can pick up yourself. A unique experience that you really must have lived, when you are in (the region) Ubud!

Beautiful Bird park. Outstandingly maintained. Lot's to see and experience with many birds to handle and capture great photo memories. Well worth the visit. Comfortable 2 to 3 hours visit.

Lots of birds. It was fun to feed them and hold them. We had a good time. I would not buy their photos so take your own camera so you can take your own pictures. If you have kids, they have a little 4D movie theater that’s fun for kids.
