Absolutely amazing experience. Our guide was cheerful, halpful and very knowledgeable, was glad to share history and traditions connected with the attractions he presented. The tour itelself was amazing, my friends and me wanted to see something unusual, mystical and connected with Bali fascinating traditions - and we were not disappointed. I recommend this trip to every person who feels like they are searching for something else. Maybe something a bit...unusual.

I had Made as my Driver and Tour Guide for the Trunyan Village half Day tour, a sacred tour steeped in ancient cultural abd sacred practices, not known to many tourists. We covered 3 interesting sites: 1) Kehen Temple-oldest sacred temple in Bali 2) Trunyan Village- where it was interesting to experience this once remote village where they continue practising the tradition of letting dead bodies decompose. The lack of smell is due to the mystical Tre Meyan tree unique to this village. 3) Bayung Gede- placenta cemetary where the placentas of newborn babies are kept in coconut husks filled with blessings and hung on a particular tree. Made was very thorough in his explanation of the sites. He also gave me a lot of insight into Balinese culture and was always able to answer my questions with thorough and interesting answers and information. He was respectful and always accomodating to my needs.. Ask for Made next time & I highly recommend him.

I recently went on a guided trip to the cemetery at Trunyan Village, and it was a truly fascinating and moving experience. Our guide, Gede, was outstanding — kind, informative, and clearly passionate about sharing his culture. He explained the unique burial traditions of the village with great care and respect, helping us understand the spiritual significance behind what we were seeing. His storytelling brought the history and customs of the area to life, and he was more than happy to answer our questions along the way. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Bali — and if you can, be sure to ask for Gede. He made the tour memorable in the best possible way.

An Unforgettable Experience . Thanks to Popo! Our Bali Private Mystic Death Tour in Trunyan was truly unforgettable, and that’s largely thanks to our amazing guide, Popo. He was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about his culture and people. Popo shared with us much more than we expected detailed insights about the traditions, history, and spiritual life of the Trunyan community. His honesty, patience, and warm personality made the entire experience feel authentic and deeply enriching. Popo not only guided us through the tour, but he also became a friend. We even filmed a special segment with him for our YouTube channel, where he spoke beautifully about his tribe, local customs, and everyday life. You can feel how much he loves his job, his country, and his family. Thank you, Popo, for making this tour one of the highlights of our trip!

Our experience was a bit disappointing, or booking should have had bottled water but no the driver got lost a few times. We had to buy surongs at the temple and was over charged. The cemetery is very small not what we thought I think $250 AU was a bit over priced.
