Excellent cooking day, nice instructors who made the day really good fun. We made a lot of different dishes and everything was clearly explained. The market tour was very informative and we were able to buy some spices at good prices.

It was a great experience, also including the market tour and explanation of Balinese households! The class was well organised, and the main teacher, Puspa, was really experienced and sweet. Note however that booking here is twice as expensive as booking directly. I'm not sure what you get in return: not even a more flexible pickup, as I was too far away to be picked up (booking a taxi is easy however).

A great experience!! The morning market was interesting, our guide explained details of the fruits and spices and we even got to try a few bits! The cooking class was explained well and everyone got a turn doing the different tasks. The food was DELICIOUS!! The ladies teaching the class were great fun too! Highly recommend!!

Great activity I did with my mother and brother. The course does not require any particular level. Very good atmosphere thanks to the beauty of the family home and the very welcoming team without forgetting the good mood of Puspa the chef. A bubbly and very funny woman. The meal was delicious. I highly recommend it.

This is a big group style of cooking class but you can easily see that Puspa and and her team are well versed into how to run something of this scale. We booked a morning session for the included market tour which gave an overview of the different types of ingredients and ended at a spice shop were you given time to make purchases. Once assembled at the family complex Puspa introduced herself and the menu of dishes we were going to be preparing before handing us over to her time. The jobs of chopping and crushing were shared out amongst the group. When it came to cooking we split into pairs, alternating between cooking and adding the ingredients. We made 8 different dishes throughout the course of the class and were given a recipe book to take home with us. While all very tasty I have to say the tempe was my favourite. Puspa and her team were all very funny women and their sense of humour and fun really made the experience. Transfers back to our accommodation at the end of the class seemed a bit messy so perhaps could be better streamlined in the future.

This was such a fun activity to do in Bali! We went to the market first then started the cooking. The staff was very friendly and it was easy to follow their instructions. I can’t believe how good the food tasted. I’m so glad we did this and highly recommend!

This is the fourth cooking class i have been to in Bali within the last 5 years. I will range this as nr 3 out of the 4. Nice people and nice surroundings. The food turned out a bit bland for my taste, mostly due to the lack of chili. We also waited for a long time before starting the class. From pickup to start was a little over 1,5 hours as we were waiting for more people/ participants.

Myself and 2 friends did this and it was an absolute highlight of ubud. And also probably the best food we ate in our bali trip even if we cooked it ourselves. Really well run and excutued for cooking each part of the dishes we made. Plus there were monkeys climbing in the trees in the trees in the distance!
