Enjoy our one-hour river cruise through old and new Berlin. Experience the city from a unique perspective and learn more about its history, its transformation, and Berlin as it is today — all from the water.
Our tour guides provide live commentary in both German and English. Every tour is personal and individual, shaped by the guide’s own style and personality — a quality our guests particularly appreciate. For this, we were awarded the Certificate of Excellence in 2024 as well as in previous years.
The route takes you through Berlin’s historic and modern districts, including the historic city center and the government quarter. The cruise operates in all weather conditions: our ship features a panoramic roof that can be closed within seconds if it starts to rain and opened just as quickly when the weather improves.

Discover the city from the water: The Reederei Hadynski enables its guests to get to know Berlin from a special point of view. On board the two glass panorama ships MS Carola and MS Franziska, tour guides will present the one-hour boat trip live and explain the exciting cityscape of Berlin. On the daily trips from March to December, guests can take in the panoramic view with a beer or a cup of coffee. When its not cold the roof will be completely open for the best views. In case it starts to rain the panoramic glass roof can be closed within seconds. Thanks to the large window areas, everyone will still be ensured an optimal view when the guides explain the highlights of Berlin, such as the Berlin Cathedral or the Reichstag.

Drinks are not included and can be bought in cash on the ship.

Better than expecting due to the knowledge and information provided by the excellent guide.. All the staff were helpful and accommodating. The boat was lovely and warm and the seating well laid out.The tour lasted an hour which was long enough to get a flavour of the river.I especially liked the information about the time the wall dividing Berlin was in place and how it effected river life.

The glass was very dirty as soon as you could see nothing, bad weather did not accompany the guide only in German.

The tour and guide were really entertaining. Really intelligent how our guide spoke both English and German fluently and seemed to know everything about the cruise, architecture, Cold War, wall separation and general history of Berlin. Highly recommended tour. I think our guide was called Alex or Alistair - so thank you for a wonderful experience.

The ride was very nice just stupid I thought that many people take up more than one space extra wide and the people who don't come half an hour before then don't get any more space or have to squeeze next to these people.

Forget Siri and Alexa – the real Berlin humor still reigns on the Spree! Here you are not lulled to sleep by a loveless band announcement, but so charmingly entertained by the bilingual guide that time flies faster than a new airport building in Berlin. And if it’s a bit fresher in December, the ‘internal heating’ in the form of mulled wine helps. The seating is cuddlier than a rush hour subway, but the guide is a real ‘sensation’ and the glass roof offers the best view of the capital – without pigeon dirt on the hairstyle. So if you want to recharge your batteries without your brain freezing with boredom (or because the heater is currently fighting Berlin winter), you should check in.
