What To Expect
Brandenburg Gate
One of the most iconic gates in Europe. Learn about why it was constructed and how it became a focal point for the different Berlin's and Germany's that formed (and fell) after its construction and an important symbol of divided Berlin during the Cold War. Don't be afraid to ask your guide for a photo!:)
Reichstag Building
Stand and admire probably the most iconic building in Germany. We will introduce you to the Hohenzollern's and share with you why the building was built, how it played a major role in the solidification of the Nazi Dictatorship in early 1933, how it was the scene of savage fighting in the culmination of the Soviet Battle of Berlin and every thing that happened to the building up to and after German Reunification.

5.00Excellent walking tour around Mitte. We did this on our first full day in Berlin and we were not disappointed. Visited key sites in old East Berlin including the Reistag, checkpoint Charlie, holocaust memorial and the place of Hiltler's bunker. Ciaran was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. Definitely would recommend

5.00Excellent day in Berlin from site to site with 2 short metro rides Speaking French with my guide Eugen enriched the day because having visited West and East Berlin before the fall of the wall Eugen was able to go into detail in many historical facts about Berlin, the wall, the Brandenburg Gate, the French and American English Russian zones A very rewarding day with mild weather and a typical lunch
