Sanssouci Palace
Sanssouci was the summer palace of Frederick the Great, King of Prussia, in Potsdam, located nearby Berlin. Sanssouci is notable for the numerous temples and follies in the park. The palace was designed/built by Georg Wenzeslaus von Knobelsdorff between 1745 and 1747 to fulfill King Frederick's need for a private residence where he could relax away from the pomp and ceremony of the Berlin court.
Glienicke Bridge
The Glienicke Bridge is a bridge across the Havel River in Germany, connecting the Wannsee district of Berlin with the Brandenburg capital Potsdam. It is named after nearby Glienicke Palace. The current bridge, the fourth on the site, was completed in 1907, although major reconstruction was necessary after it was damaged during World War II. During the Cold War, as this portion of the Havel River formed the border between West Berlin and East Germany, the bridge was used several times for the exchange of captured spies and thus became known as the Bridge of Spies.

A well organized and worthwhile experience. It appealed to me because the bus transportation allowed me to see more while reducing some of the walking that would otherwise be required.

Great tour with lots of information from our excellent guide Susan. It was a little rushed, especially at the palace, we had to skip some of the audio guide in order to meet her on time on the terrace. Would have liked a second photo stop as well, so maybe increase the time of the tour by 30mins.

Great tour. Suzanna was a wonderful guide. Small suggestion maybe add a photo of the bus or meeting place in addition to the address so travelers know what to look for when meeting the bus.

Susan was a great tour guide. I was disappointed with the Palace, but learned so much on our bus ride it made up for it.

Other than walking across the Bridge of Spies and the Sanssouci Palace, this is a totally "drive-by" tour. We say so much we would have liked to know more about. Our guide kept us an a pretty torid pace, only one bathroom and/or water stop in 4 hours. This was fine for my family, but some of the other guests were pretty worn out. I also thought that Susan, our tour guide, was a little free with here political comments.
