There are many different types of Liverpool you can go on, this one concentrated on the city centre, through the docks then back into the city. Really enjoyed it, we've done a tour before and saw a different side of Liverpool. We used Liverpool Famous Walking Tours and our guide was Pam. She was brilliant, no problems recommending her.

Walking tour was a very casual and informative tour with Carl. His knowledge of Liverpool was vast and no question no matter how obscure was answered. Very enjoyable morning stroll.

I highly recommend this tour - Allan is a superb guide. He takes you to all kinds of places that tell something interesting about Liverpool's history - including some offbeat places (like an old jail turned restaurant) you'd never expect. He loves the city and it shows.

Jean is a great guide! She was friendly, extremely knowledgeable, and even tailored highlights to the particulars of the small group. Her experience and love of the city are infectious. She kept us so interested and focused that the wet, windy weather had no effect on our enjoyment of the walk and Liverpool’s history.
