I was very lucky to have almost private tour as it was me, lovely two ladies and our amazing guide Mike. For me it was great trip as we went though all different stages of Liverpool history. From 13th century, when first documented remarks about the city were found, till modern times of this beautifully diversified and full of love and energy place. From looking at old maps, following brick lanes and walking over (now buried) first docks, Mike was sharing with us history of Liverpool in most passionate and witty way. The first time I came to Liverpool and looked at Bertie and Bella (the two Royal Liver House and sity guardians) I knew this city had something special in it. But this trip showed me not only the amazing architecture that takes the breath away but also the spirit of the city that even though has not easy history - has amazing people who make this city very special. Thank you again Mike for your knowledge, enthusiasm and great energy - I do start to really fall in love with this city. And thank you two my two companions - it was great to have the tour together!

My family & I thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Colleen. It was extremely informative. Colleen was very knowledgeable & her love of her home city shone through. And she managed to work her way around a very heavy rain shower!

This was on a brisk Saturday afternoon but Pam kept us engaged and interested with loads of facts and information about Liverpool. You really cover some ground, both historically and geographically, and I thought it was a great introduction to Liverpool!

Mike Dowling was our guide on a very wet and windy day. We ended up having a private tour and apart from the weather it was fabulous. Mike was very knowledgeable and engaging and recommended many other things that we should do in Liverpool. Highly recommend the tour.

There are many different types of Liverpool you can go on, this one concentrated on the city centre, through the docks then back into the city. Really enjoyed it, we've done a tour before and saw a different side of Liverpool. We used Liverpool Famous Walking Tours and our guide was Pam. She was brilliant, no problems recommending her.
