What To Expect
1000 Islands Helicopter Tours
Location of the 1000 Islands Heliport. Travelers will embark on their helicopter tour from this location. Features a welcome centre with ample parking for cars and larger vehicles, small gift shop, fully accessible washrooms and a spacious lounge.

5.00Such an amazing experience! From the moment you drive up to the helipad to final touchdown, every minute was full of excitement and smiles. Captain George shared tonnes of information about the Islands, Boldt Castle and the region. Totally recommend to anyone!

5.00Boldt castle and it's island are stunningly beautiful and well maintained. The paths are well maintained with lovely flowers and manicured grass everywhere. The docents are informative and happy to share about the house and grounds. The work that has gone into restoring the buildings is impressive in both scope and quality. They have golf carts if you can't walk to the castle and also there is an elevator inside (part of the original design which is amazing for when it was built). Make sure to go to the 5th floor balcony and look out over the river and grounds.

5.00We took a trip to Alexandria Bay for quick get away and I surprised my husband with a helicopter tour. I don't like to fly but actually LOVED the helicopter. The view was spectacular! Our pilot was very professional, informative, and had a great sense of humor - he put us at ease right away. Great smooth landing! We highly recommend the experience and would definitely book with them again. Cheers!

5.00We had a great experience with 1000 islands helicopter tours! The staff were friendly and our pilot (I believe her name was Brianna) was amazing! She was very knowledgeable of the islands and Boldt castle and gave us lots of interesting information about the area. The flight was safe and overall a great experience! 10/10 recommend :)

5.00The staff was very welcoming and friendly and our pilot Elise was very knowledgeable about the area and pointed out several very interesting historical facts about the area. The front seat of the helicopter afforded an amazing "bubble" view of everything below and the back seats had great views as well. Two thumbs up and five stars for a great tour, not to be missed! AND you don't need your passport!
