  The communication was definitely an issue in the beginning. The start time changed overnight, and we were almost late to the pickup point. My brother and I were the only two in the van, and our driver Francesco was very kind and accommodating. We loved being able to skip the long line at Buffalo Trace, and our driver was at the gift shop waiting to walk us back to the van at the end of the tour (he even carried our box). He drove us to Churchill Downs, and got us set up for our tour, and then waited in the parking lot for us to text when we were ready to be picked up. He was very accommodating, and even stopped twice for us to get coffee. He did a little drive around down town Louisville for us, to show us where places were that we had expressed interest in visiting. Aside from the confusion in communication, it was a great trip, and I highly recommend.

  This experience was 5 Stars for our group due to Vladimir. He helped us swap Buffalo Trace for Evan Williams at the last minute. His flexibility was above and beyond expectations. If you get Vlad as your guide, you've won the lottery!

  The Churchill Downs tour and Buffalo Trace tours were as advertised. The drivers were cordial and very punctual. Only negative is there was some confusion with itinerary and we left Churchill Downs about 30 minutes early only to end up waiting additional for 45 minutes at the lunch stop.

  Itinerary changed without proper notice. A spam text was sent by “Maybe Barbara” the night before and was not read. I never open spam. Churchill Downs was scheduled to be the first stop in the morning followed by a distillery tour. In the morning we were taken to a gift shop and offered a tasting at a Bourbon warehouse that was not part of the tour that we paid for. We then traveled to a distillery for a tour and tasting in the early afternoon followed by a rushed visit to Churchill Downs due to it being toward the end of day. After requesting a refund, at the morning gift shop, based on the changed itinerary my phone was being blown up with rapid fire text messages by “Maybe Barbara” threatening to have us removed from the tour bus which would have left us stranded approximately 2 hours from our hotel. I attempted to call “Maybe Barbara” and the calls were not answered as “Maybe Barbara” continued with the rapid fire text messages. We have booked tours on Tripadvisor in numerous states over the years and have never had a bad experience prior to today. This vendor has refused to refund our purchase and as of this review Tripadvisor hasn’t provided one either. I’m now waiting to hear from VISA and will be filing complaints with the Kentucky Attorney General and the Better Business Bureau.

  The distillery tours were very interesting and fun. We did Woodford Reserve and Buffalo Trace. Churchhill downs was disappointing. Just not much to it. Our driver was pleasant, punctual, and handled all the check in details for us. When booking the site was not clear about what hotels they picked up at. You could pick any hotel in Louisville as your pick up point. Only after booking the nonrefundable experience did they send an email saying the hotel we picked was not a pick up point. We ended having to change hotels, as the purpose of using Viator was not driving after visiting the distilleries!

  The Buffalo Trace tour was fabulous! We learned so much and it was great fun seeing how the process works. We were disappointed in the visit to Churchill Downs. The movie was wonderful but the tour consisted of going outside on the first level of the grandstand. We did hear some fun stories and our guide pointed out a few key places on the track.

  Belkis, our driver for the day, was fantastic. She personally took us to the ticket counters and made sure we had everything we needed. She went out of her way to make the day special Everything at Buffalo Trace was amazing. So glad we were able to visit and take the tour
