The Citadel of Qaitbay is a 15th-century defensive fortress located on the Mediterranean sea coast, in Alexandria, Egypt. It was established in 1477 AD by Sultan Al-Ashraf Sayf al-Din Qa'it Bay. The Citadel is situated on the eastern side of the northern tip of Pharos Island at the mouth of the Eastern Harbour.

5.00Amazon road trip. Venture out of the Cairo congested traffic and enjoy scenery. Alexandria it’s a very old and historic city. Enjoy going to the castle and other places. Have a lean but delicious Mediterranean style seafood. Both Ibrahim and the driver make you feel like they’re family members.

5.00Ibrahim was the best tour guide ever! The tour was extremely pleasurable because of our tour guide Ibrahim! He is not only classically trained in the history of Egypt, but his love, enthusiasm l, and energy for what he does exudes through everything. Our trip was perfect and I would recommend him to anyone who wants to learn about the history and riches of Egypt. A bonus for me was that he knew all the best places to shop and eat as well so if you are a foodie, Ibrahim is definitely your guy!!

5.00Ibrahim gave us a first class experience! He was amazing with his knowledge about all things related to Egypt! We traveled with our extended family and he made all of them feel comfortable. Our trip was tailor made and customized for young and old alike ! From tours, quizzes for the kids, specialty foods for our parents, we can’t recommend Egypt Tours Planners enough! We will definitely be back! I wish they did tours in other countries that’s how amazing he was !

5.00I have been on numerous tours with guides around the world. I can say, without a doubt, this was the best. Our guide was not only informative but he was constantly engaged, friendly and helpful. He always had a smile and was as knowledgeable as any expert in the field of Egyptology. I would never want to see Egypt with anyone else! More over, I now count him as a friend in Egypt.
