When we booked it didn’t indicate it was Chinese and English. In fact out of 48 were the only caucasians. Dan guide did a great job with dual languages. In fact when you got to know our travelers they were from China , only a few, Vietnam and Korea. Most lived in the USA or Canada. They were delightful and everyone was always on time. A first for us in long travel experiences. First and last days long travel days. Food Chinese in cafes but good. Sites visited in middle two days were worth the travel. It can be difficult to to organise a better trip yourself. Much cheaper than Rail Tour. Take the tour packages for food as very hard to find alternative food options. Service fee is a bit different to deciding the tip yourself. Min is $60 each . It ticked our bucket list of Lake Louise, Banff, Rockies and Columbus ice fields. Lunch at Fairmont not cheap but fantastic.
