This tour redefines a visit to Champagne. It caters perfectly to the traveler who has "done" the standard house tours and craves depth. The customizable aspect was key—we focused on the ancient cellars and the art of blending, which gave us a masterclass in craftsmanship. The exclusive tastings included not just iconic champagnes but also rare local spirits, offering a complete palate of the region. However, the pinnacle was the private vineyard picnic. Sitting among the very vines that birth this legendary wine, enjoying artisanal charcuterie and cheeses, was an experience of pure, unadulterated luxury and connection. It’s an editorial-worthy day designed for those who collect experiences, not just souvenirs.

This wasn't a tour; it was a fully immersive narrative crafted for those who seek the story behind the sparkle. The decision to tailor the day to include a smaller, family-owned maison alongside the grand UNESCO-listed cellars was inspired. Descending 30 meters into those silent, chalky tunnels was a humbling journey through time, where the very air smelled of history and potential. But the true magic happened above ground. The luxurious picnic in the vineyards was a scene from a film—a perfectly curated basket of regional delicacies enjoyed with a panoramic view that no champagne house could replicate. It was authentic, photogenic, and deeply sensory. For any creator or curious traveler, this experience provides not just a tasting, but a profound connection to the terroir and its people. Unforgettable.

This experience is for the curious mind and the discerning palate. It transcends simple tasting to become a deep dive into terroir, history, and craft. The guide brilliantly connected the dots between the unique chalk soil we stood in, the ancient cellars beneath us, and the precise methods that create Champagne. The "exclusive tastings" were just that—rare finds and smaller producers we'd never have discovered on our own. The luxury picnic felt like a reward, a moment of sublime pleasure earned after a morning of fascinating learning. The power to customize allowed us to prioritize a visit to a grower-producer (a "récoltant-manipulant"), which aligned perfectly with our quest for authenticity. A sophisticated, impeccably executed journey for true enthusiasts.

Let me be clear: 95% of this tour was absolute perfection. The cellar visit is profound, a journey into the earth's memory. The picnic is pure romance—an experience we will cherish forever. The Champagnes we tasted were exceptional and educational. Our deduction of one star comes down to the pace related to customization. While we appreciated the option to choose a maison, the desire to accommodate both the immersive picnic and a visit to a somewhat distant chosen house made the day feel slightly rushed towards the end. A little more guidance on itinerary logistics based on chosen locations would have helped. Nonetheless, the quality of every element—the knowledge, the settings, the luxury—was top-tier. A magnificent day that just needed a slightly more relaxed finale.

The vineyard we visited had a nice atmosphere and the picnic under vines was a nice touch. We tasted a handful of champagnes, learned about the methods, and the contrast between small vs larger producers made sense. For us the best part was the intimate setting, not just a big commercial house. A couple of small typos in our booking caused a little confusion but Lena handled it well. Overall a good day out.

We had a chill day out of Paris and the picnic in the vineyards was lovely. Our guide Lena was friendly and shared good stories about how champagne is made, which made it more meaningful. Trying several cuvées was cool, we could taste differences thanks to her explanations. The small family producer stop felt genuine and personal. The minivan was comfortable so the ride wasn’t tiring. We reccomend this for anyone wanting something more relaxed than big group tours.

The tour was well orgnized, car was clean and ride felt easy. We liked the visit to the small producer most, it was more autentic and personal than the big house. Tasting was generous, with several cuvées to compare and explanations that helped understand diferences. The stop in Reims was also nice, the cathedral is impresive and worth the time. Picnic in the vineyards was very pleasent, with blankets so we not get cold. Everything went smooth, comfortable all day, good balance of history, culture and champagne

We had such a great time on this tour, everything was organized really well. Nikita came right on time to our hotel and car was very good, we could relax during the drive. The highlight for me was visiting the family-owned producer, it felt very authentic and personal. The tasting was generous, we tried several cuvées and learn how they are different from each other. As extra we had a stop in Rheims, the cathedral in Reims was also impressive, even more than I expected! I think this tour is perfect if you want to combine culture, history and good champagne in one day. We felt taken care all the time, thank you!

Tour was great, I loved both the small local producer and the large co-op producer, learning about the contrasting methods of producing champagne was super interesting. The van was comfortable with plenty of space. My eight-year-old daughter was with us, the content wasn't really interesting to someone her age. However she really liked the train in the cellars and picnic was also child-friendly. Our guide and driver was also empathetic to a tourist I learned a lot about not just the drink, but the region. All in all, a must-see whether you’re alone or with friends and family.
