Queen Kapi'olani Park
Kapiʻolani Park is Honolulu’s largest and oldest public park, originally gifted by King Kalākaua in 1877 and named after his wife, Queen Kapiʻolani. As we drive by, you'll see its lush greenery, towering banyan trees, and open fields, all set against the stunning backdrop of Diamond Head, a volcanic crater known as Lēʻahi in Hawaiian. Once a gathering place for Hawaiian royalty, the park remains a cherished spot for locals and visitors alike.

The tour guide was very friendly but he talked a LOT about himself and his family and it just seemed odd. The Viator listing said this tour was 8 hours but from pick up to drop off it was ELEVEN HOURS which was so painful and exhausting. Might just be better off renting a car and going to the spots on this list that you want to see specifically instead of wasting 11 hours. This tour is better for seniors imo.

Charlie was the best tour guide I’ve had on any trip. He made the whole day a learning experience and was just sooo fun. Highly recommend.

This was a unique situation due to the tsunami warning towards the second half of the tour. I want to thank our tour guide ROCKY! He took great care of our safety and provided a wonderful experience in a difficult situation. We felt safe and cared for by him. He made us feel truly like Ohana.

Our driver, Tim, was interesting and knowledgeable. I love these tours because we get history and interesting stories on the places we visit, and we don't have to flight traffic, or struggle with a map! My favorite, was swimming in the Wiamea Waterfall. Everyone was required to wear a life jacket, which was good, because you didn't have to be able to swim to enjoy this activity.
