  The tour operator was late picking us up. The tour guide Aka informed us we would be making an unscheduled stop at the local department store so we could pick a couple up instead of them meeting us at the hotel. This would save them $20 on parking because they can scam Khols by getting validated if they buy a bottle of water. The entire tour Aka gave everyone details on scamming Costco by buying what you needed for the beach, etc. and then returning it at the end of your vacation because you have to save money. All of his stories for the first few hours centered around either human or animal poop and his family. Did not talk much about the areas we were passing, but instead about returning his 5 year old couch that broke to Costco for a refund or his daughters toys he didn't need anymore. Not what I was on a tour to hear about. The tour did not stick with the itinerary at all. First stop was to be Diamond Head for 20 minutes, but we drove right past instead of stopping since we were late. The beach we stopped at to snorkel was the most dirty, cloudy water I saw on the island. Lots of homeless camped in the area that made you feel unsafe to leave your belongings on the beach and go in the water. Aka told us not to walk to the water ourselves as he needed to show us where to go so we didn't disturb the homeless encampments. At two of the stops, people did not show back up on time. We were at a small fruit stand and instead of going look for them and get them on the bus, he just talked about himself more. we lost 20 minutes at two different stops due to this. We got to the Dole plantation and we only were there 20 minutes instead of an hour since we were running late. Safe your money and rent a car and you can do this tour yourself without the poop and scam stories.

  Amazing experience. Jay was so funny. Made this experience unforgettable. This is a must do and recommend this Tour to anyone coming to Hawaii.

  We had a great day with Jay, tour.Guide and James are a driver. they kept us on schedule. Jay had lots of good information about each stop. we got to spend extra time at the snorkeling stop and saw 2 turtles. we really enjoyed the food stops and j gave us restaurant suggestions for back in waikiki honolulu area.

  Tevin is a local who has a lot of great knowledge of the island and the history of the island. I would never have known what I would be passing by if I were driving around by myself. This was a great overview of amazing parts of Oahu. The stops were real short but long enough to enjoy everything. The point of the tour was to see where we would like to come back to later on by ourselves.
