USS Bowfin Submarine Museum & Park
USS Bowfin is a fleet attack submarine that fought in the Pacific during WWII, and helped to make famous the term, “Silent Service.” Bowfin was launched on 7 December 1942, exactly one year after the attack on Pearl Harbor. She was nicknamed the Pearl Harbor Avenger, so it is fitting that her permanent home is at Pearl Harbor, Hawai’i.

It was a wonderful day, yet it was a full day! We had the blessing of. Wing able to go see the memorial as it is under renovation and not always available. Your tour guide will not know if you will be able to see it until you get there and the navy lets them know. The submarine was amazing! The Missouri was mind blowing. The history was absolutely a must see. I was amazed to see it all in real life and nothing compares to the experience of being there.

Great day out but this is not a guided tour. You are picked up, driven to the sites and are left to your own devices to explore the days activities. Which is fine if you’re happy to do that, which I was. Arlane was great and it was a nice excursion. You’ll definitely enjoy it!
