a long drive to get there. Then a 2.5hr wait until we were able to eat. The kids were bored and hungry by 8pm when dinner was finally ready. i was not aware of this going into it so the kids hadn't eaten since lunch. a bunch of filler activites like taking pictures and having a drink until the show and food started around 8.

The trip to the luau was over an hour, but the bus driver was very nice and gave a wonderful commentary on the scenery and things over to the luau. We get there and we wait and we wait there was according to the MC, there were 600 people there and they have three different kinds arm bands. They are orange, yellow and red well if you’re an orange, you get your food delivered to the table, yellow you get to get warm, hot food and heaven help if you have a red band you’re treated like dirt there was supposed to be a guy going around and letting the tables go up to the food line, the guy in the next table had to go find this guy and found him in the bar clowning around not paying any attention to us. so by the time we got to eat, there was no pineapple coleslaw there was no fresh fruit. The servers don’t replenish the food for the red group. You get the leftovers and I do mean the leftovers . The meat was cold. The rice was so sticky, you could put it in a ball. Then we sit down and they turn off all the lights for the stage performance, so we ate our food in the dark. There were no knifes to cut the meat, so you end up eating your food like cavemen. This event IS NOT worth the money, for the bus trip and the luau it was over $300. Find a smaller luau, hopefully with better food.

The evening was not as expected. We arrived around 5 pm, a bit early, and did not eat dinner until 8pm. It was a long drawn out experience and the picnic table seating was super hard and uncomfortable after sitting for an hour but we sat for 4 hrs. A lot of repetitive communication from the host to by time as staff prepared our dinner. The only thing that was enjoyable was the actual dancers but that was at the tail end. The food was just okay nothing you wouldn’t eat at a regular potluck gathering. Our booking was on Thanksgiving day and nothing special was provided in the meal. Disappointing evening and we would not recommend this Luau to others. Not worth the price of the ticket or the discomfort while you wait to be entertained and eat your dinner.

The show (dancers, fire sticks, etc) was great BUT food was poor quality and they didn't provide knives to cut your steak and chicken. Felt bad for some people who had to wait almost an hour to walk through the buffet line because they hadn't purchased the "plumeria" package. If you go bring your own knife and wear tennis shoes - you'll be walking on sand.

This is a really bad experience … it’s a shame that it could be so good. 2 hours here now and no dancing only making fools out of guys in the audience ….. stay well away

Food was really good. Loved the pineapple coleslaw, never seen macaroni salad & potato salad mixed together but it was really good. Loved the pork. Loved the show. It is well worth it.

We went in the off season and it showed in the lack of care. We were not given a very warm up welcome. We were not told our wrist bands corresponded to the tablecloths we were allowed to sit at. So despite being one of the first few people there we ended ip having to move from a COMPLETELY empty table to sitting all the way in the back. That table we moved from remained empty all night while we were forced to move to a full table all the way in the back. Had we been told when we cane in of the restrictions we would have simply chose a good seat within our color assignment. Not only did they not tell us about this but also did not tell us we were supposed to get a flower upon entering. We ended up being the only couple there that didn’t get a flower. We bought gifts from the gift shop and bought many drinks from the bar and were polite and respectful even after being rudely talked to about moving tables. As if we were too simple to understand the table assignment when in reality we were never informed and were supposed to have assigned seating. Having the seating is understandable, we just weren’t told of it until after all the other tables were full and done so in a rude manner. Doesn’t seem very welcoming and family oriented to move people from and empty table and move them to a full one in the back after the show starts. Food was good and bartender was cool. But the food was picked up very quickly after they served it. People got busy watching the show and the next thing you know the buffet was cleaned up. Perhaps this place is too proud with their Disney endorsement now. Been here several times long ago with no issues. This time will be our last though.
