Diamond Head State Monument
Our first point of interest takes us to beautiful Diamond Head Lookout, where you will be able to catch the end of the sunrise. The surf is almost always up at Diamond Head beach, so you can watch the surfers and see other Hawaiian Islands on a clear Day. *Please understand that this stop is not the Diamond Head State Monument that is inside of the crater. Another name for this location is the Amelia Earhart Lookout.
Kahala
After the Diamond Head Lookout, our second point of interest is the Gold Coast in Kahala. This area is like the Beverly Hills of Hawaii. You will see unbelievably large and luxurious properties and expansive estates that are owned by movie stars, celebrities, dignitaries, entrepreneurs, and of course doctors and lawyers. Definitely an interesting sight to take in.

Overall, this is a great tour and our guide Rob was excellent. He was engaging, had great stories, and understood the island and its people. Only thing disappointing was you snorkel off from a beach but the water may during our tour was not clear.

Guide (Kap) was great- knowledgeable and entertaining. The tour hits the photo ops of Oahu and that was great. Got to what was the highlight of the tour & snorkel equipment was dirty and there was a shortage. Instead of having families share guide just handed out equipment to people in the front of the bus & everyone else was SOL. Bus a/c worked well but felt like something wrong with the axle & we were relieved it made the whole trip. We did see turtles, just not underwater with a mask & snorkel as advertised. Do the tour but use a different company.

Extremely poor. Strongly recommend NOT to avail this trip. Unwelcome start. Bus overbooked than number of seats. On asking where to sit as not enough seats, the driver rudely and aggressively said that that was not ‘his problem’ and he was ‘not responsible for it’! This was after paying full price for all the tickets. One kind mum, had to sit her 5yr old child on her lap through out the trip to accommodate that. 2) Extremely boring commentary by the driver- as if completely uninterested 3) Turtle surfing experience is a scam- misleading advertising. The took to an isolated beach- unsupervised / uncontrolled wild setting, where there are hazard signs outside for ‘strong waves and discouraging swimmers to swim’ in that area. Driver left there with advice that if any accidents or mishaps happen, it is not his/ tour company’s responsibility. Having done snorkeling in other places and countries, I feel this was a scam advertising about snorkeling! Highly disappointed. Would encourage others to look at alternatives.

Our tour guide was Kap and he managed the tour poorly. First, by the end of the pick up, a family of four couldn’t get seats. Clearly some party brought too many but he actually told the family to figure it out for themselves. In the end a child was sitting in parent lap in VIOLATION of safety rules!! He allowed at least one family to bring additional child without paying and he allowed the kid to travel without a seat. Clearly unsafe. The snorkeling was a joke. Lacking any instructions, the travelers were completely lost on what to do. In the return trip, the driver tour guide allowed unsafe loud child play in the back of the bus that was loud and disruptive to the whole bus. And allowed passenger to play their own music out loud creating a chaotic atmosphere. I would not recommend this tour. I can’t believe that a child around eight was allowed to sit in a lap without a seat!

Do not book this tour. It was not what was advertised in the pictures. It’s a LONG 12 hour day of nonstop pointless stops for ten minutes and stopping at touristy gift shops. First, the bus was over crowded with children having to sit on laps. Second, the bus itself was dirty and so rickety. I felt we were were constantly driving over a rumble strip for majority of the drive. Third, the snorkeling was a huge disappointment as this was what my husband and I were looking forward to the most. The beach I was not scenic or pretty. It was a murky rocky beach and we could hardly see through the water. Also, our tour guide didn’t have enough snorkel gear for us, so we weren’t able to even snorkel. Overall, the tour was not worth the price and the best part was getting dropped off.
