This was a great experience. I like at the beginning we went shopping for the ingredients. Really reminds how easy it is to get what you need. The actual salsa making occurs in her apartment so the vibe is comfortable and laid back. I’m not a huge spicy person but I could handle all of them.

This was so much fun!! Veronica is a wonderful host and a patient and talented chef/teacher. We met at her local market where she taught us about picking the best ingredients to make four delicious salsas and how to pick the perfect cheese for quesadillas. She taught us how to prepare them with special touches to make each salsa authentic and delicious including some basic cooking and knife skills, which was fun for a novice like me. The fun experience and Veronica’s hospitality made this class a relaxing addition to our time in busy Mexico City.

Veronica led our group through the market and taught new tips and tricks about salsa ingredients. On the walk to her place she provided insight into local landmarks and traditions. She broke our group up into four teams which allowed us to make new friends. I shall treasure the colorful recipe cards she distributed.

It was great, all 4 salsas were delicious and even better with the quesadillas! Enjoyed the experience in a different neighborhood and visiting a home in Mexico.

A highly enjoyable few hours creating salsas from scratch. Learning traditional methods and recipes in an homely environment with someone who obviously loves her National cuisine.

Veronica was the absolute best - she met me outside the market and was really easy to find. We went shopping in the market and she explained why we were selecting certain ingredients, and then we went back to her place to cook up 4 delicious salsas! We played music and had delicious hibiscus tea and it was honestly like cooking with a friend. I would highly recommend this experience!

Perfect support during salsa production to be able to cook at home after. You will love it to go with tortialls, taccos or quesadillas. The 4 salsas produced were then tasted. I can only recommend the course.

This is a great experience. Our 10 year old picky eater loved it -- even tried new foods and declared the quesadillas we made in his top two ever. Be prepared to eat a good deal. With our 4pm class we didn't need to have dinner later that day.
