About me: Expert in traditional Mexican food, learning from the best chef: my grandmother. I have degrees in bakery and pastries from the renowned Cloister of Sister Joan and I am currently studying gastronomy. My mom and I have a coffee shop together and have been dedicated to gastronomic experiences for at least a year, giving my guests the best experience possible.

I like to teach the real Mexican seasoning and that at the end of the experience you will feel that in Mexico you will always have a friend.We will go together to one of the most emblematic Markets of Mexico City to select the best ingredients to prepare our sauces.

So, choosing this experience will give you a glimpse into the true heart of Mexican cuisine, no experience is the same!

What To Expect

This is what we'll do to you together! We will go together to one of the most emblematic markets in Mexico City, in the beautiful San Rafael colony... the San Cosme Market. As part of our tour of the colony, we will stop at the only taqueria that has a Michelin star in all of Mexico. We will create delicious sauces in different presentations, fried, fresh and creamy tatemada. With its authentic Mexican seasoning. We can accommodate any restrictions, the menu is suitable for vegetarians. After cooking, the best time comes: to sit down and enjoy our creations. Supplementing with delicious water from Jamaica or Horchata. Complementary Mezcal. We can accommodate food restrictions.

Amazing experience and host! Veronica was such a lovely and patient host. With two kids (12 and 9) and two adults, there was more than enough food and honestly was some of the best food we had on our entire trip. An absolute MUST for anyone eager to learn how to make tortillas and to begin to understand what makes a salsa!

This was a great, fun, and informative class. Veronica gave us a quick tour of the local market which was great to experience. Then we went to her apartment and made some really delicious salsas, each was unique and are things we will surely make back at home. Chips and salsas might sound like a snack but it was also very filling. The salsas are all so delicious it was hard to stop eating the chips. After making all the salsas we finished with some amazing quesadillas - which really filled us up. So make sure you have an appetite when you take this class and don't plan on having any food for a little while after! We highly recommend this class to anyone interested!

Excellent excellent excellent. The trip to shop at the market was an incredible adventure. Then on to a tortilla shop. It was so much fun. Well worth the money and time. And I'm not even a cook or like to cook but my friend does but I had a great time preparing 4 salsas and then eating our creations. Don't pass up this adventure.

My husband and I had such a good time. We've taken other cooking classes here in Mexico and throughout our travels, and this was one of the friendliest and most authentic. She lets you choose the spice level (we like it hot) and note that the salsas are all vegan for those looking for a naturally vegan-friendly experience.

Veronica is absolutely lovely and the sauces you will learn to make are delicious! Your class will start at the Farmers market where you hand pick the ingredients for the quesadillas and sauces. From there, you stop by a local tortilla shop to get homemade tortillas. The class then takes place at Veronica's home where the remaining ingredients are prepared in advance. My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed making 4 different salsas then eating them with warm homemade quesadillas and homemade chips we picked up from the market. The highlight of the class was eating the food we had just made a long with a fresh batch of hibiscus tea! Highly recommend this session for all!

A great professional, close and with many good culinary advice. It was a luxury to go to the market with her, learn about fresh produce and cook in a relaxed and fun Mood. Such a lovely experience with Veronica! It was just me and my friend so was kind of like a private class. She welcomed us into her home after a trip to the market to pick up our ingredients, and we had such a nice time chatting and learning about Mexican cuisine.
