I understand that foreign people are afraid to visit the poor area of Mexico City. It is true that there are very dangerous areas and they are not pretty to see.
I would like foreigners to open their minds and venture out of areas like Polanco, Roma or Reforma.
We will take the transportation that normal Mexicans use on a daily basis. Upon arriving at the first cable car station, we will begin to see the ghetto and its surroundings. We can walk around but only at specific places on the trip. At no time will we go down in red areas.
From that point, I will give you information about the different social classes in Mexico and why this country continues to be a place of poverty.
Likewise, we will talk about Mexican culture and its valuable people. Specifically about the people who live in that area.
You don't always have the opportunity to travel to a place like Latin America. So you have to make the most of the trip.
The tour is English and/or Spanish.
With me you will be safe :)

Most tourists always visit the same places. They don't know the real Mexico. With me you can learn about the life of Mexicans without being in danger. I will meet you at the Bellas Artes metro station and from that point our trip by public transportation will begin to the beginning of the Cablebús (Cable car). I will be with you at all times, so there will be no danger. Together we will travel through the sky of the marginalized area of Mexico City. At no time will we go out on the dangerous streets, so the trip is very safe and perfect to get to know the other reality that almost no one talks about. We will return to the same starting point. Ideal to enjoy the Museum of Fine Arts. On this trip the language will be spoken in English and/or Spanish.

My daughter and I truly enjoyed the trip. We liked the experience with the subway and the cable car. Our guide is very knowledgeable and kept us in good conversations. He treated us to the local ice cream and showed us a retired airplane that was turned into a library for local kids. Highly recommend!

This was a very cool experience and Jose was a fantastic guide. This tour allowed me to experience a part of Mexico City that most travelers won't see. Without Jose I would have never been able to do this or see these places. He was a great conversationalist and helped me practice my Spanish skills. In addition to the cable car he also asked if we wanted to walk through a market in a neighborhood most travelers don't visit. We felt completely safe with Jose and we're glad we said yes. This was a unique way to see the real CDMX.

I had an unforgettable tour with José, who truly made the experience exceptional. His deep knowledge of CDMX, especially this area, was remarkable, and I felt entirely at ease with him looking out for my safety. The views from the cable car are extraordinary! José’s warm and friendly nature made every moment enjoyable, and I can’t recommend him highly enough as a guide. This tour will stay with me for a long time!

Great tour, gives a totally different point of view from Mexico City. Jose was sharing what life is on the not touristic part of the city. The su way part was totally fine, we had a cable car for the group. We ended up in a typical Mexican restaurant where we discuss more of the Mexican way of life. To do, if you want to see something else.

Our group was small, only three of us. Our guide, Luis was very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable about Iztapalapa. He explained the town and gave us an insight on how it works. Luis even took us to eat after and the food was amazing! Definitely recommend this tour to everyone.

If you’re in Mexico City and have not done this tour then you have not seen Mexico City at all. Our tour guide Luis was so good. He took us on the train and the cable cars each time filling us in on where we were. He spoke very good English & Spanish and made sure we were safe through out the whole tour. He was very informative very polite and I felt very safe with him through out our tour. We really enjoyed our day and would highly recommend it. Experience something off the beaten path.

Luis was such a fabulous guide. So understated, super friendly and very knowledgeable. His insights are essential to making the metro/cable car experience valuable. Seeing a part of the city we simply wouldn’t have visited without him. Worth every penny of the cost and so glad we did it
