We are locals that speak english, visit Xochimilco on a traditional gondola tour with food and unlimited drinks. Listen to a guided explanation, taste delicious Mexican meals on an island, take unlimited pictures and party during a cocktail workshop, duration 150 minutes all inclusive guided tour.

Age restriction: We only serve alcoholic beverages to travelers over 21 years of age. Travelers under 21 years of age will be served non-alcoholic beverages. The tour itinerary will respect the choice of guests over 21 years of age who do not like to drink alcoholic beverages.

In the event of force majeure (due to congested canals and traffic), it may be impossible to reach the island and try pulque, especially on weekend afternoons. But don't worry, the party won't stop, our team will be prepared with typical regional food.

Optional: we could visit the Axolotl Sanctuary to see the Mexican Axolotl, with an extra cost.

All guests are guaranteed a chair on the boat, boat chairs are the same size for all guests, our staff will assist guests with wheelchairs or babies to get on and off the boat.

For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.

What To Expect

Xochimilco

I'm Edgar and my friend María locals to Xochimilco. Lets board the boat called trajinera and drink margarita, tequila, mezcal, pulque y michelda (workshop), play lottery or Mexican bingo. At the end of the Mexican lottery game I will take you to have breakfast on an island called "chinampa", a place built by my ancestors in the Xochimilco lagoon. Menu of mexican tacos, I also provide vegetarian menu. We drink plain water or mango juice for breakfast. At the end of breakfast I will provide you with tequila, pulque, margarita, mezcal and we will make your own michelada in our workshop with beer and chamoy tamarind. We will dance to the rhythm of Mexican music, I will explain the history of the place and we will play more Mexican games. Before finishing the tour I am going to give you a sample of the most important typical Mexican candies and we will return you to the initial meeting point.

    This was a lot of fun! Yes it was a bit crowded and touristy, but the drinks and amazing energy of the guide made making friend a momorable experience! I would say that if you are a bit hungry, it does not hurt to grab a bite before the boat ride! Highly recommendeb experience 🤙

    For those travelers, who like to have a fun time, who aren't shy and perhaps enjoy a party atmosphere. This is one of the best tours in CDMX. Highly recommend for groups. Our "tour guide" Hugo was outstanding and made tha trip fun for all. Expect music and free flowing drinks throughout the 2.5 hour journey through canals. (It really is "all you can drink". On the return Hugo conducted class on how to make a special tequila drink. There were games, karaoke and an "electrifying experince" not to be forgotten. Be sure to visit the small wharf area afterwards for lunch, shopping or perhaps, more drinks. Highly recommend!

    It was a fun experience but the experience description was not entirely accurate. It was supposed to be 2.5hrs and ended up being much shorter at 1.5hrs total including with time and bathroom breaks..There was no breakfast/brunch, all we were provided was a snack - had we known we'd have planned accordingly. Overall not worth the price.

    Giving this experience 5 stars strictly because of the vibes. It's a blast and yes, there is a lot of tequila included. If you're not a drinker, you might opt to hop on a different trajinera experience. But if you want to get a little wild in Xochimilco, this is for you. Shout out to Pancho and Iván for being charming beyond belief.

    We had a great time on our boat tour of Xochilmico. Luis and Valentina were excellent hosts, giving us great insight along the canals while also providing endless entertainment. The games were a great way to break the ice, and the never ending tequila helped unlock conversation and laughs all around. Truthfully, we had low expectations for this tour but it ended up being one of the highlights of our trip. Thank you to our sweet guides, you truly made our trip to Mexico City a memorable one! And thank you for fulfilling my dream of seeing the Axolotls! Till’ next time..
