What To Expect

The Eco Experience tour Once gathered at the meeting point we will embark at the agreed time on our boat "Papacho 2" with a maximum capacity of ten passengers. Our biologist on board will explain the details of the fauna we can find and the keys to its conservation. During our tour we will approach different groups of cetaceans, sea turtles and seabirds, always respecting the space of the animals and without interfering with their natural behaviour. In this way our visitors and our crew will interpret together the secrets of animal behaviour. During the sighting we will completely switch off the boat's engines so as not to disturb the animals and we will launch a hydrophone to listen to the sounds the animals use to communicate or to hunt.

Friendly and educational. Highly recommended. We saw pilot whales and a couple of flying fish. A lovely way to spend an afternoon. The sea was relatively calm and the boat never went too fast. Would go again.

Excellent excursion! The best of our stay. Guides are passionate and you can feel it. Every information is given with the heart, they are ecologically friendly and do not disturb marine mammals just for profit. This is incalculable respect for them. On the program, beautiful photos, whales passing under the boat and a karaoke of these same animals. I recommend 100%, it was really exciting. Thanks to the guides for these 2 hours full of life and immersion with whales

Done a few of these trips. This is the best one. Smaller group. Very friendly. Informative and educational - if you are interested. David is passionate and knowledgable about pilot whales. Also saw a couple of flying fish. Definitely recommended.

I had a pretty fun time going out on the boat with Atlantic Eco Experience. The tour was exceptionally educational and it was also a small group which made the experience more enriching. We got to spot some pilot whales fairly quickly! I highly recommend this tour for educated and eco aware travelers who don't want to support companies or enterprises that scare of the fauna or contribute to pollution and exploration of sea life. The whales were not disturbed and were even curious to come by to check out our boat. Snacks were provided on deck and I received surprise BTS photos from the experience. I lost my Go Pro footage from this day so I was happy to have the photos. This company also offers dives and is PADI certified. Something I will consider for my next visit. Highly recommended!

Exciting and fun experience with professional, welcoming and friendly guides, with whom we felt in tune especially for the respect and protection of the ocean and its inhabitants. Jonah, our 3 year old son, had a great time!! We've seen several different families of whales. That was creepy! Experience absolutely to do!

Fantastic whale watching trip with knowledgeable crew. Very relaxed atmosphere and most importantly very respectful of the animals and did not harass them. The boat was comfortable.

It was a very nice trip. The many whales were impressive. The boat was great. And it wasn't a problem for the team that we had a small child with us. Lots of explanations. Highly recommended!

Family of four - kids age 6 & 8 - all were enamored. David and Higinio were very knowledgeable - we all learnt loads- and so passionate - still getting excited to see the sea life day after day. By booking with Eco Atlantic Experience we felt, saw and heard how we are supporting the protection and conservation of the sea life and area. Although still in their habitat we made sure to have minimal presence by not going to fast and turning our motor off when close- even collected trash along the way- luckily it was only a couple of pieces this time. We wouldn't hesitate to book again! Muchisimas gracias!

A very nice experience, I would not have missed this! With a lot of love and respect for nature, we were able to spot many whales, also up close! We even saw a sea turtle. David knew a lot about marine life and because of the small group there was plenty of opportunity to ask questions. I would book this tour again when I get back to Tenerife!
