It was very nice, great views but a lot more crowded than expected. As well as we wanted to meet at the last pickup spot because that would save us a 1 hour bus trip, but they were 100% sure it would be better to go to the first pickup spot. Then the busses got delayed and we missed the first pickup and they had us take a taxi "in hopes of you making it" and otherwise we'd just have to deal with it. For the rest a great trip, decent meal (little small for a tall guy) and a very nice mountain view.

The group was super big a literal large bus of people so if you’re looking for a sense of privacy take a car and go up the mountain by yourself you can find lots of spots much higher (tour stops like 30 km from Teide). Food was okay but travelling around the island you can eat much better. So overall - a bit pricey lots of people mid food and a very cool guide. Not for us.

All the bad reviews are true. 1. There are so many people in the bus it loses the "special experience" vibe they're going for 2. We never made it past 1400m high, there was no "Sea of clouds". Just a sea of tourists. 3. They take you to a viewpoint that's easily accessible to everyone. The whole experience is right next to a road with frequent vehicles passing 4. If I didn't book the meal, why did I have to wait for an hour for everyone else to eat? 5. The moon was so bright we could barely see any stars with the naked eye. What you see through the telescope are white dots against a black background. 6. The guide was good and seemed knowledgeable. He could also have studied the whole speech and know it by heart if he repeats it several times a week. In summary, there was no soul, no "breathtaking experience", and paid way too much money to go to a viewpoint I could've easily accessed by myself.

The trip wasn't quite what I expected, I thought there was going to be more walking/ exploring involved. Instead we are driven whole way by coach and then we had a lot of waiting around. I personally felt the group was too large. Ozzy was great but spread thin amongst the number of people there. If groups were smaller there could have been more interaction during the waiting around. We all found ourselves wondering what we were doing, whether we were in the right place and quickly became disengaged. The food was nice but smaller portions and the night is long so recommend taking food/ drink but then there's no toilets after you leave the restaurant! Sunset was beautiful. Stars was nice but only 5 telescopes meant you queued but then it was so dark queues were everywhere and some people spent ages using which again meant we quickly got bored of waiting. Ozzy as I said great fun and passionate- i just think id preferred smaller group.

Ozzy was very passionate about the stars and the solar system. There was one incident where an older lady accidentally knocked the tripod leg, which shut down the calibrated telescope. There were two others to use, so this was still ok. I just felt that his reaction was a little too harsh towards the lady, given that it was very dark. I know light should be kept to a minimum, but perhaps some dim lights at the base of the tripod legs should be considered if it is so important. In all honesty, I think Ozzy’s reaction was due to the fact that there was a young boy who was like Tasmanian devil, and was constantly being asked to stop kicking up dust and was not being well managed by his Mum. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed this trip and would recommend it.

Great trip. 2 adults, 2 teens loved it. Everything from Ozzi's great commentary, canerian food and then the beautiful sunset. The star gazing was an amazing experience, we loved using the telescopes and Ozzi's laser show explaining the constellations. Would highly recommend!

What an amazing evening. Off the Hills for a really nice dinner at a local restaurant and then Aussie took us right after about 5000 feet to see the sunset over La Gomera and then setting up five enormous telescopes so that we could see Jupiter with its moons, Saturn with its rings, and fearless other well-known celestial bodies. This show all came with a continuous narrative and Aussie who clearly knows a lot of about astronomy. I could now navigate by the stars!!! Thoroughly recommended afternoon/evening 👍
