  It was incredible day with nice bus driver and guide. 👌 We really enjoyed everything from start to finish. The trip was full of emotions and amazing views with a story.

  This was a full day tour to Mt Tiede, the North Coast and the Masca Valley. Very comfortable coach, expertly driven on the narrow twisting mountain roads by Carlos. Our guide was very engaging and knowledgeable on the natural history of Tenerife, and presented this information in fluent Spanish, German & English. Apparently he’s been doing this for 20+ years! The time spent at each location was just enough, as there are some quite long transits from one to the next. I think our favourite was the short guided walk through Icod to see the Dragon Tree, but the views of the landscapes in the Tiede National Park and the Masca Valley were equally impressive. There’s no pressure to use the restaurants/cafes where you stop, so if you have kids or if you prefer, just bring your own drinks & snacks for the day.   Great trip which covers a lot of ground. As as well the national park it visits a couple of picturesque villages. There is only a short stopover in the Park (much of it spent queuing for the only functioning toilet). It would have been nice to able to some walking in the Park but the timings didn’t allow. There is a good stopover at Garachico (definitely worth seeing) which includes an optional restaurant lunch. Some parts of the journey involve quite scary hairpin mountain roads - but the driver was excellent. Guide also very good and informative. Tour could possibly miss out Masca to give a little time in the Park.

  Good things first: The bus driver was AMAZING and did an impressive and very good job driving us safely through the mountains. This deserves respect and was surely not easy. Moreover, he was really friendly and showed us some nice photo stops to take pictures. He was really doing a great job. But: I booked a tour called "Teide und Masca Valley" so I thought this is the places where we would spend most of the day. I was wrong. We had 20 minutes in Teide and another 20 minutes in Masca. For a 9h 30 minutes trip. That's not even 10% of the time. What can you do in 20 minutes? Quickly get out of the bus, rush to the spot, take a few pictures and go back. It's almost no time. I would have enjoyed it if we were driven there, had MUCH MORE TIME in the actual spots and then drive on. But that was not what was happening. Instead, we spent 90 minutes in a restaurant (more time than Masca and Teide together!) in the dragon village tree. I'm sorry but I don't need to book a bus trip to be brought to a restaurant. It felt like the restaurant was actually the secret reason for the trip and not Masca and Teide what I booked. I was heartbroken and disappointed. Was so happy to see Masca and Teide and then I wasted an entire day of my vacation for 40 minutes spending time there. Moreover, the communication was really bad. Going into the bus, I was already having a bad feeling because I was not sure if I sit in the correct bus. The guide lady did not have a list with names, she was just like "Yeah, it's this company which you booked, so it must be this bus". Also, meeting points were poorly communicated. In the dragon tree village, the meeting point where they wanted to pick us up after 90 minutes was different than the place we were dropped off. But she didn't tell us (at least not in English). So I asked and only because I happened to ask she showed some of the group members the meeting point in our Google maps. Unfortunately, many people were already gone walking to the village when she explained it and so they did not receive this information so obviously there were different people missing after 90 minutes and we had to wait another 30 minutes in the bus until they found them (and the organization was again very bad as they did not have a list with names and phone numbers or anything). Same thing was in Teide. We only had 20 minutes there. I was back in the bus in time just to be told we have to sit in the bus for another 15 minutes because the bus driver needs a mandatory break (which is completely fine but why do we have to sit in the bus when he has to do a break anyway? Why can we not spend the additional 15 minutes at the Teide?). The "stop" in Villaflor is not really a stop. You don't see the village, we just spent a few minutes at a motorway rest stop, so please don't expect to see the moon-like environment or anything there. It's really just a rest stop with a toilet and expensive snacks. All in all I would say this trip is appropriate for elderly people or people who cannot walk and enjoy to spend 90% of their day in a bus. You will see some nice views through the bus windows. But it is surely not for people who want to explore and actually spend time in Masca and Teide. This tour should be named "Bus tour through Teneriffa where we spend most of the time in a restaurant and happen to stop in Masca and Teide as well" but certainly not "Teide and Masca Valley". If you still want to go, please take a warm pullover and a wind jacket with you. Even if it's warm that day, the mountains can be extremely cold and windy (which is fine, I brought a pullover and a jacket and therefore didn't have a problem). The bus does not have a toilet in the bus. If I may suggest something to the people organizing this trip to improve it for future visitors: - Please give your guides a list with the names and phone numbers so they can call missing people - Please make sure that meeting points are communicated clear and well, especially in English (this tour was an English tour) - Most important: Please find a way to ensure people have more time in Teide and Masca. I think the dragon tree village can be skipped entirely. Just make the lunch break in a restaurant in Masca or tell people to bring their own snacks. I don't know if they have a cooperation with the restaurant in the dragon tree village or anything but it was really not cool to spend 2h in that dragon tree village. Yes, the tree is cool, but you don't need 90 minutes there, especially when it means you have no time in Masca and Teide. - It would be cool if the bus had a toilet so we don't have to stop several times and do 20 minutes toilet breaks. But yeah, this point is probably hard to realize and was not the main problem of this trip. Thank you.

  Great trip - full day coach trip with regular stops, a good guide and a great driver. Slightly longer in a couple of places would have been better and a bit more freedom to wander and explore would have made the trip a bit better but overall a great experience and would recommend it.

  This was a fab experience- tour started on time at 0845 - guide was fab and took us through various places explaining the history of Tenerife , geographical topics like Volcanoes, plantations etc etc Teide experience was wonderful Few scary moments as we entered Masca valley on the roads.. but driver was fab fab .. - places visited were picturesque and wonderful trip overall

• Ok if you’re happy on a bus for at least 7 hours and an over the top guide.

  Way too much time in the bus, at least 7 hrs for just 30 mins at Tiede and Masca. If anything Viators description of the trip is misleading. We stopped at 3 other places briefly we had minimal interest in. Guide spoke / lectured us way too much in multiple languages and was a little rude a number of times. Told no hotel pick up just the day before. Confusion on which bus we were allocated to. 3 stars out of 5 is very generous

  The excursion was well worth the money. The sites were amazing. I felt Enrique (host) was very informative and interacted well with us all. Howie the driver was amazing in the winding roads and I felt secure at all times. Masca was beautiful. Mt Tiede is a site to see. There was so much to see. The change in climates from north to south and the sea of clouds we travelled through in way back to Peurto de la Cruz was amazing. A must to see if travelling in Tenerife.
