Our visitors will have the opportunity to try an art which was invented by ancient Greeks and which they meet in a lot of places in Greece for example Vergina, Pella or Rotonda. A glass mosaic workshop will take place in Dimitra's Art Glass Studio located in heart of Ano Poli (Old Town), just few steps from Byzantine Baths and public library, with view to historical Koule Kafe square.

What To Expect

During 4 hours creative workshop we will create a mosaic glass artwork which in the end you will take with you. In the beginning we will choose the pattern we would like to create and color of our wooden base we will work on as also the color of mosaic glass pieces we will use. After we will create our mosaic glass artwork by sticking mosaic glass pieces on wooden canvas. In the end we will fill the gaps between mosaic glass pieces with tile grout.

Art Glass Studio is a space where creativity takes shape and color through glass. In this unique workshop, participants have the opportunity to experiment, learn glass carving techniques and create their own unique works of art. The tutoring is warm, professional and accessible even for beginners, while the environment inspires and unlockes the imagination.
