Thank you for understanding Plaza de España is the largest square in Santa Cruz de Tenerife and the entire Canary Islands. Constructed in 1929 the square underwent significant refurbishment in 2006 . This renovation introduced a large artificial lake, enhancing the square's appeal. Dominating the center of the square is the Monument to the Fallen (Monumento a los Caídos), a 25-meter high cross-like obelisk unveiled in 1947 to honor those who died in the Spanish Civil War.
Playa de las Teresitas
Playa de Las Teresitas is a renowned artificial beach located in the northeast of Tenerife, near the village of San Andrés and approximately a 10-minute drive from the capital, Santa Cruz de Tenerife. Spanning about 1.3 kilometers, the beach is characterized by its golden sands and calm, turquoise waters. Originally, the area consisted of pebbles and black volcanic sand, with strong Atlantic currents making it less suitable for swimming. In the early 1970s, to create a more appealing beach, a breakwater was constructed to protect against strong waves, and approximately 270,000 tons of white sand were imported from the Sahara Desert to cover the beach.

Theo not only showed us some great places that we would not otherwise have seen, but told us many interesting stories and anecdotes about the island's history and people. This trip was money really well spent and we would certainly like to go on another tour with him if we get the opportunity to return to Tenerife.

The entire experience was A+. The booking and communication from our driver Paul the days leading up to the tour was amazing. Paul was punctual and polite. He told us so much about the island. We really enjoyed hearing various stories about the island . Loved how Paul explained everything. He gave us plenty of time at our stops. Made sure we took photos at all the key places ensuring we have great memories . My husband farms so Paul explaining the watering system and why some plants are not straight. Also about how the plants survive on the dew. He also shares stories about the islands and how they relate to some of the most popular movies. He was so detailed. Paul was good about asking what food we wanted and made sure we got the opportunity to eat some very good authentic food. He helped with choices that allowed us to get a good taste the island’s food, Everything we ate as by great. He was also good about making sure we saw the various regions of the Island. We saw the dry area and the wet wheee we saw lots of greenery. We also visited mountains towns of Vilaflor and Candiilaria.

We had a terrific time with Theo. He showed us so many cool things in the island that it made us want to plan a longer trip to Tenerife. After taking in the sites, we had a wonderful lunch full of unique Canarian foods. Highly recommend a tour with him.

A day spent with Theo is a wonderful way to see Tenerife when you have a limited time to do so. Theo is extremely knowledgeable about the island, has lots of fun stories to share and will accommodate your tour requests as much as possible. We (4 of us) had a great time with him. He is highly recommended.
