Le Monument de la Renaissance Africaine

The African Renaissance Monument is a monumental sculptural group, the work of sculptor Virgil Magherusan, located in Ouakam, a district of Dakar. This 52-meter bronze and copper monument[1] was erected on one of the two conical volcanic hills overlooking the Senegalese capital, Les Mamelles, the highest of which already bears the Mamelles lighthouse.
