Khlong Bang Luang Artist House
Khlong Bang Luang Artist House As we glide through the canal, you’ll spot the Khlong Bang Luang Artist House – a quirky old wooden house that has become a hub for creativity and local life. Think street art murals, traditional puppet shows, and a splash of color right by the water. We won’t be stopping here, but it’s the kind of place that makes you want to wave, snap a photo, and say “Wow, Bangkok has secret gems everywhere!”
Wat Ratcha Orasaram Ratchaworawihan (Chom Thong)
Tucked away from Bangkok’s busiest tourist spots, this royal temple is a real hidden treasure. Built and restored during the reign of King Rama III, it’s famous for blending Thai and Chinese design in the most eye-catching way – colorful tiled roofs, detailed ceramic decorations, and elegant pavilions. Unlike the crowded temples in the city center, Wat Ratcha Orasaram is calm and peaceful, giving you space to slow down, look around, and enjoy the details. Inside, you’ll find beautiful murals and plenty of corners that are perfect for quiet photos. It’s a place where history, art, and serenity come together making it one of those secret Bangkok experiences that most travelers miss

We had such a brilliant experience on this tour, made even better by our guide, Yoyo. He was incredibly kind, patient, and genuinely one of the loveliest people we met in Bangkok…💙 We were running late due to traffic, and the team kindly waited for us without any fuss, which we really appreciated. Once we were on board, everything was so well organised and relaxed. Highlights included seeing lots of monitor lizards, the impressive Big Buddha and stopping at the artist house – a beautiful and peaceful spot that we’d never have found on our own. Yoyo shared so much interesting information along the way about life on the canals, local history, and the places we passed. It felt personal, authentic, and never rushed. If you want to see a totally different side of Bangkok beyond the busy city streets, this tour is perfect. Highly recommended – especially if you’re lucky enough to have Yoyo as your guide!
